Retiring to Northumberland- Nice areas?

We are retiring to Northumberland . Can anyone advise areas near Blyth that would be nice to go and see. Would like near the coast if affordable. Thanks

Thanks so much. It is a lovely quiet are near the river wansbeck. We can walk along the river bank every day . It is truly lovely. No regrets about the move that is a six hour drive from where we lived before.
