  • Love some of these comments, some of them certainly made me chuckle...!!

Thanks for everyone's comments, well take a lot of it on board, the plain light paint is already coming out, we can't get rid of the desk as it's needed for wfh, but are rearranging the living room to make it less obvious.

Again, thank you for the comments, all are good and useful (even the one re price... We're already considering that).

You don't need to get rid of anything, just move it into another room during the photo session.

Good, because that is by far the most important factor.
  • Totally irrelevant to your question, but I LOVE the seat in your shower!  :)

Like the place quirky lived in eclectic collection of furniture.

    Things I noticed,

Even with all that bedroom furniture there is stuff everywhere in boxes, you can see it under the beds, on top of the wardrobes, shoes tucked in anywhere.  it shouts no storage when there is so much the rooms feel smaller.

You are going to need to try to hide it .
Are you sure you want to take all that with you anyway, can't start packing/chucking for a move soon enough.

Throws over every  and a pet bed, cat or dog?

No TV in the living room, the desk media storage does not look right feel out of place.
It's not a big desk, I think I would try to move it into one of the bedrooms  by removing some of the the excess furniture(chairs) from those.

Two of the double beds are up against the walls, can you reconfigure the rooms so they can be accessed from both sides.

The small room maybe turn the bed round and dress as a guest room with no other  furniture to make it feel spacious.

The photos are really frustrating as they just don't show the proportions of your rooms and full views which I suspect are a big plus - the overall feel of older room sizes.
Not my taste either but easy to see past with better views of whole rooms. Declutter always good.
A couple of things which may just reduce your pool of buyers compared to other 3 bed family homes - only one toilet, no bath and no garage.
However some house types are common in some areas so people know what to expect - if you aren't getting many viewings it might be a bit top heavy price wise but I have no particular insight here

I  completely agree. It is a 3 bed house so presumably will attract families or young couples looking to start a family. Baths are important,  ever tried showering a 1 year old? Not much you can do about it but  a young family is going to be factoring in the cost of refitting the bathroom.  The good news is the pink flowery bedroom will appeal to a little girl!

If you do get the photos redone moving the desk out of the living room for the photos is sound advice
