I have sent my letters off to quick quid and wonga and peachy, Peachy replied straight away with a final letter denying fault. FOS contacted me relatively quick about 2 weeks and asked for credit score etc. which i provided. so I am awaiting them, I have had a response back from quickquid who asked for bank statements from the time and a pay slip ( which I refused to provide, bank statements should be enough. they also asked where i got my template from, I also refused to provide this to them as well, I chased them up and they replied saying they still have upto 8 weeks to give me a final response.. ( will wait and see)
and I sent my biggest one wonga off requesting all interest and charges back totalling over 4k, they did respond but gave me the standard 8 week window response. I have asked for all entries to be removed from my credit file by them as they have very clearly ruined my credit score with bad lending also. still a wating game. whats the most you guys have managed to get back?0 -
Wonga's additional 4 weeks ended today and they asked for an additional 2 weeks to be dated from Friday (so 2.5 weeks).
Feel like I should allow them the extra two weeks because of the number of refunds they offer. PLus it would be 12 weeks before I'd hear anything from FOS if I escalate now.0 -

why give them 2 weeks if the fos are not going to deal with it in 12. i say the minute 8 weeks are done report them to fos it costs them £510 for each case the fos is involved in.0 -
Hi all
Well CFO came back today with a very lengthy letter saying that they did appropriate credit checks etc. They did offer to write off the interest on my last £750 loan but kept the balance as owing.
I have all the e-mail trails complaining to them about on-going harassment and ringing my employer so off to the FOS we go.
Good luck everyone :beer:0 -
Just had an offer from Wonga through for £377.63 I'm not sure how much I was expecting- they say in their letter they wrote off £140 from my last loan, which I don't think they did, but seeing as everyone is struggling to even get offers from them I think I might accept it.0

Boatdweller, do not accept anything just yet. send them a subject access request postal order of £1 included and then contact them via twitter or facebook. this is what I did and the statements came through with in 2 weeks.
if you need the money you can take it but consider if they have offered you a sum then i get the feeling they are aware of mistakes they have made.
Remember dealing with these guys is never a sprint but always a marathon0 -
Spot on Fusionx212, QQ offered me £350, another poster on DebtCamel was offered £150 from QQ, the FOS adjudicator says £2.000. Never take the first offer is what I say.:cool:0

Letter from WDA asking for more time. Not a hope. Told FOS about their refusal to provide statements so she is going to get them for me. Given Sunny a final boot reminding them they have two days before I go to FOS.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200

I've decided to accept the offer, I have been way more successful than I thought I would be, and anything is really just a bonus to me, £377 towards a holiday is not such a bad deal in my eyes, so I've sent off my details. So just over £1k in compensation received over the companies I went after. Happy days.0

 good Job, I am just heading out into disputing with my PDL's i have been in contact with the FOS and the FOS has been pretty good so far, came back to me fairly quickly etc.
I don't to let people just wait around till their deadlines.
I sent an email a week chasing updates. I Find people soon get fed up when constantly bugged, See my previous posts ( had a default removed by PDL due to incorrect information) nagged them all to death, I am currently doing the same to santander.
I find people try to get all judgemental and on their high horses when you complain about the way you are treated but.. if a company is willing to take advantage of myself. I will use the system they happily abuse to give them the same treatment back.0
