Hi Ginger.Ice, QQ will be the one holding up this case ( Casheuronet) they have no respect for the FOS or customers. Be patient, you will probably receive some extra compensation for distress as many others have, when dealing with these Predators.0

Just been refused any redress from Mr Lender. They say they did all the correct credit and affordability checks and are happy they behaved in the correct manner.
Strange considering I had a default and arrangements to pay and also a handful of other PDLs on my credit file.
Looks like will have to take this one to F.O.
Do they have to pay the fee of £550 to the F.O even if the F.O don't find in my favour?0 -
Another update. Lending Stream have offered to waive the interest (£300 in total) on the two loans on my DMP leaving me with only the original loan amounts to pay back.
Small success.
Still waiting for replies from Wonga and Uncle Buck.0 -
It is better than nothing Bear04, keep going and be patient. Week 7 for me with QQ and PDUK, both still investigating my complaints.:cool:0

One week today until I can escalate Pounds to Pocket, Quick Quid and Wonga.
I still haven't heard anything further about my escalated case about Lending Stream - initial adjudicator gave a "no" but have requested that it goes to an ombudsman. Not heard anything further but will let you know.
I can see what the main issue is here. Affordability is subjective - some people (lenders and FOS adjudicators) seem to think that having £100 left a month after all the payday loans are taken out means that you could afford a loan.0 -
PD Express and PD UK have failed to respond within their 56days so I've immediately escalated the complaint to the FOS today. I've raised them separately so it looks worse on their complaints stats and hopefully they get double the FOS charge.
The funny thing is that I hardly used these companies so the potential redress will be under £100. However I've requested an extra £100 for the distress of undue delay and the time it takes to escalate complaints to the FOS. It would be brilliant if they incurred £1100 in penalties plus the additional £100 all for a complaint worth under £100.
It shows that these people are not only morally corrupt, they are also totally stupid.0 -
QuickQuid are the same Ginger.Ice.:p0

5 days until I can escalate my cases. I really don't want to escalate my Wonga complaint as that's the one I'm banking on the most - would rather settle that one sooner than later.
Anybody know if they reply on the last day possible?0 -
Remind them with a E-Mail, they may ask for more time????????? Wonga have been overwhelmed, so they say, usually make reasonable offers after another 4 weeks. Its up to you !!!!0

Update from me; all 3 of my cases at FO and 2 have been assigned to the same FO adjudicator, she called to ask for credit reports for the times my PDL were taken out. She warned me that the decision could take 12 weeks depending on how quick the PDL companies get back to her.0
