    Delay tactic I would say.

They will offer a minimal amount and hope you go away.
Push for more when they reply.

Basically this is yet another Rip Off Britain scandal like Bank Charges, PPI, The public are fighting for redress and getting results. The amounts of profit are obscene, get your complaint in and get back what you are rightfully owed in compensation.

Email from Sunny. They are investigating but found it very convenient that they seem to have ignored the point I made about not treating me fairly when I was in financial difficulty.
I sent a polite email back, as to be fair he asked me if I felt there was anything he missed, telling the whole story of what they did and enclosing a copy of the email I sent them which was a clear indication of my mental state after what they did to me. Keeping my fingers crossed with this one- it's not a vast amount of money but it's a lot to me and this is just one of about ten so I'm happy with that....

  • Just after people's opinion while I wait it out to hear back from the pdls.
Took out loans with wonga, paid back 1, got in trouble with the others. During this time took out a large loan with pounds 2 pocket. Whilst I had this loan took out one with quick quid ended up extending it! (rolling over) eventually paid it back, took one out with wonga, defaulted. Then took another one out with quick quid even though I had ran into trouble with the previous one and at this time had taken an extension on my p2p one. Ended up going into a pre default plan with quick quid and paid a lot of interest. Also, prior to any of these loans I had at least 2 defaults on my credit file, numerous late payments marked and other accounts went into default during my pdl cycle.
My job wasn't salaried and my bank statements show my income being as low as £330 one month and highest was £900 (didn't cover my debts let alone rent etc)
Am i in with a chance of a positive outcome from my complaints or is it wishful thinking?x

The disgruntled email to PDUK worked 😂 Statements arrived in the post this morning. Unfortunately they were written in what seemed like double Dutch so I rang them and they were surprisingly helpful- I explained I have numeric dyslexia and was struggling with numbers so they're going to add up all the interest and send me the figure. I do think however I've cracked it with OH's help and I've come to a figure in excess of 1k which given the fact the loans date back to 2008 wouldn't seem unreasonable. Next thing is to get the email written!
