    HI silolz0rz!

I've taken QQ to the FO after I rejected an initial £207 offer in their final response.

Was £538 around the amount you'd calculated you were owed?

I don't know mate, I didn't bother to count anything up for QQ. Anything to me is a win, i didn't take much out at QQ i i did roll over a fair few times and some amounts were paying back £745 p/m.

I wouldn't have taken it so quick but I'm trying to propose to my girlfriend, and it's coming up soon so every little helps:rotfl::j

ive decided to take the money and book a holiday... i may have got much more, maybe 3 times as much but i figured i dont want to think about wonga for the next 8 months. its in the past and i have learnt never to use a payday loan again. good luck all, now i start with some others as well. does anyone know if you can just got o ombudsman with all your loans or you have to do it individually? otherwise for 8 different companies you have to send 8 different lots of ban kstatements etc? sseems it would be quicker if they could look at your statements and thr comanies you had at the same time?

Was this through FOS that you took the money? or just from the payday loan company?

if it was from FOS how long did they take to pay you? i need it asap haha

I have had a nightmare trying to get the statements from payday uk and from payday express and am no further forward in that respect though I do have all the bank statements now.

I have noticed in the last few days 3 searches on my credit file over the last month since I opened the complaint for 3 different addresses carried out by them.

2 of the addresses are unrelated to the complaint.

has any one experienced this before and is it normal as part of their complaint process?

I have not given permission for them to do a search and have not had an account with them since 2012.

    Any thoughts on this?

A large part of my complaint against QQ is them being obstructive when i tried to set up a payment plan. When we finally agreed a deal, they failed to take the money, defaulted the account and sold it on to a debt collector.

Its still with the ombudsman and seemingly not progressing at all but I will update when I hear anything.

Why can I believe this. I'll always swear if I haven't taken the route I took on the 31st March I'd be here with a default on my credit report and charges stacking up. Whether it's pence per day added it's the principle of it when a lender gave you a time when they would debit and you end having to calling them '''the online company''' 6 hours later when you find your account has been restricted. These lenders should know better both Quick Quid and Sunny aren't new comers to the industry. It really upsets me to know I pawned goods in 2015 when the line was we can't help then until I'd at least made a first payment when that was another query on payday has changed so that's why I didn't hesitate in picking up the phone this time (both run in's under the new rules)

The FOS just seemed geared to only irresponsible lending with a perhaps try at poor customer customer service.

I was told to approach the FCA but of course they don't accept individual complaints, madness when you see you can report a mis leading lender television advert very easily through them (:D) still when the industry breaks down again, least we can get to say told ya so! It does make me wonder when I fought the payday lenders 6 years ago I'd bet they must all have secretly cancelled off CPA then as I was never a victim of having money removed from my bank account so goes to show what cuts later. A payday product which can't deal with someone's pay date changing - laughable.

    Hi,

I've had numerous PayDay loans in the past but my credit file doesn't seem to go that far back?

I know I had loans with
    Wonga,
    QuickQuid,
    PayDay UK
    Sunny
118 118 (Not sure this was a PayDay loan but it was a loan and APR was really high)
Ladder Loans (another high apr loan)

Each of the payday loans I would pay off each month but then straight away I would had to get another one out to pay another!

Do I have a case? I'm still in a lot of debt now but haven't had a payday loan for about 2 years now.

My credit rating is Poor now and would have been just as bad back then!

Not sure what to do next, where can I find all payday related loans I've had over the years as not all showing on credit file?

So desperate to get some kind of money from these vultures that prey on the vulnerable.

Hi there, love the help and advice on this sight! I've used it to start the refund request process with several payday loan companies and am starting to see some success!
Last week I had a response from the FOS and they have agreed that some of my loans with Wonga and Lending Stream shouldn't have been given to me. They have now issued their findings to both companies and the date they have to respond by is 8th June but apparently, if they haven't responded by then, it has to be escalated to the Ombudsman? Does anybody know if this is likely to happen? Or have an idea of timescale from
This point to receiving my refund?

    Thank you!

    Start off here:
    https://debtcamel.co.uk/payday-loan-refunds/

Create a template and email all the payday loans for a "statement of accounts". It's a very slow process, but you will get results.

i started 15th February and i've had £580 off quickquid, £180 off cashasp, Wonga is with financial ombudsman looking for a result any day and paydayuk was something like £100+

they also remove your credit report entries too, showing you didn't take certain loans with them out at certain periods. Thus your score will rise

    Dear Mr **********

I write further to our email dated 17 April 2017, thank you for your patience whilst I have been investigating your complaint.

My understanding of your complaint is that you do not feel that appropriate checks were carried out to ensure you could afford your Sunny loan. Furthermore, you feel that had a full and proper assessment of your financial standing been completed, the application would have been declined. Please let me know if I have missed any points or misunderstood anything.

To investigate your complaint I have reviewed the account opening procedures in place at the time. Having done so, I am able to inform you that we conducted creditworthiness checks, assessed your ability to afford the repayments which would fall due under the proposed agreements, and we considered how you were managing other debts at that time. Based upon these checks it was considered responsible to advance credit to you. However, having reviewed the information you have provided, there are indicators that the product may not have been suitable for you and with this in mind, I uphold your complaint.

In line with my decision, and to return you to the position you would be in had you not been granted a loan, I would like to offer the following:

    • A full refund of all interest and charges paid in respect of your loan, totalling £1925.30 (you borrowed £4121.76, and repaid £6047.06)
    • Simple interest at 8%, calculated on the above figure, totalling £436.40.
    • The record of your loan will be removed from your credit file, we will update Equifax, Experian, and CallCredit.

Please can I ask that you provide me with your bank account number and sort code, so I can arrange for the above payments to be processed. Once we have received these details, we will be able to transfer the funds within five days.

If you don't ask you don't get!

Would like to thank you guys (I was a lurker) and thank debt camel too.

Thanks for your help so far, what can I do if my credit file is not going that far back? It is only showing stuff from four years ago and I'm sure I had payday loans before this, at one point I was just googling "payday loans" and picking any new ones that would return back from the result set, so I can't even remember the names of most of them and not sure if they even exist to this day?

Complaint still ongoing! It's been 12 months now. I spoke to the ombudsman last week to be told it still hasn't been assigned to an actual person....the adjudicator passed my case over to them in October last year! So, so frustrating!
