Well I emailed Wonga with the subject 'Trust Pilot' as they instructed me to and surprise surprise still no reply :rotfl:

If they really are all snowed under why dont they just hire a few more staff to deal with only these complaints? They can clearly afford to pay them if they can afford to pay £550 to the FOS!!! It would probably work out cheaper.

So wonga came and partially offered 2470 back in compensation today for my loans. I'm going to hold out and ask for all of it back I saw someone got 10k back from them.

I worked out all.loans + interest to be nearly 4k.. so they are way off the mark.

They admitted fault in their email feel so relieved they admitted this I'm gonna speak to the ombudsman and say I do not accept this offer.

Send it back to Wonga and tell them what you would consider ie: £4.500 if they offer 4K you should be laughing.:cool:

so wonga offered 2470 for 8 loans of 25, I have a feeling the amount I requested back is incorrect and I am potentially owed alot more off of the back of this.

I replied back ccing in my ombudsman as this to me is admittance of fault they have offered 8 loans of 25 refund is a joke. so if this is already 2470 for 8 loans what is the total amout of redress for 25 loans.

Dear Wonga, I am pleased you have acknowledged your fault in irresponsible lending.

I feel the offer you have offered does not match in terms of the financial stress and issues these loans have caused me.


I feel you have not addressed the total amount of loans I had. Some of them being very large sums of my salary. you have offered to refund me 8 loans of 25, i Had loans through 2011-2014, 3 years as you have noted.


The irresponsible lending has damaged my credit rating significantly hindering my ability to seek credit at the best rate possible.

I noticed you have not added any compensation to my complaint despite going over the allowed 8 week period and the stress incurred.


in light of the above
I kindly request you refund me all 25 loans - interest and fees + 8% and all Loans removed from my credit file

and compensation for the stress in waiting for you to address my complaint.

I have a complaint open via the Ombudsman due to length of time taken and have cc'd the adjudicator who is reviewing my complaint.

I would please like my points reviewed and the correct compensation given.

Hi fusionx212, If I worked for Wonga ( Paid out over 30 million ) I would give you all the money back, sadly I do not, looks good to me.:cool:

well I put my reasons why they should all be refunded so wait and see what they say. it's all damage control for wonga at present.

Hi all,

Just looking for some advice please.
An adjudicator was assigned to my case against Wonga yesterday and today I've had an offer from Wonga of £225 which I think is a joke. Can anyone advise me what I do next please?

Do nothing welshie28, wait for the adjudicator, you can e-mail Wonga and tell them they are a joke? and you will not be accepting their offer.:cool:
