Yes Dazza, seems to be a six year limit on claiming back, still better than nothing. I would be happy with that amount, I have estimated 4K also.
  • It's good for me

I had other payday loans with. Poundsttilpayday

But I understand they are outside the UK so unable to claim against them

    Ok then,update time.
My adjudicator emailed me earlier this morning with an update and his findings.
The first loan was fine but all loans afterwards should have been a sign that not all was well as payday loans are for short term borrowing and once the loans were paid off they were being taken again within a few days effectively becoming roll over of sorts, and QQ should have recognised I was becoming reliant on them.
Also the flex account should never have been allowed to be set up with such a high limit as I was also becoming reliant on it.
His conclusion is that all charges and interest from October 2010 on the flex account and loans should be refunded with statutory 8% added on,as well as all records of payday loans and flex account removed from my file.
QQ have disagreed with his findings therefore it now goes to an Ombudsman for his final decision (mildly disappointing) but the final paragraph does state that in all likely hood the ombudsman will agree with the adjudicator's findings.
Hopefully now this part won't take long-I havent got any figures yet though.

Heres hoping Delete33...any sum is good, the main thing is to get them off my credit file too.
I assume that once the Ombudsman makes a decision they have to stick to it and pay out?

QQ just delay as long as possible , even in defeat. These tactics need to be highlighted to the FCA. QQ should be put out of business for what and how they have dealt with the public.

Just did a quick total up of loan fees on their own was over £1000-just didn't realise how much I was paying out :(
I can expect to hear from the Ombudsman within the next month or 2 according to my adjudicator.

Brilliant jackster123. PDUK can p-ss of- back down their hole in the ground where they came from.:mad:

The point's I will make here and am really not bothered in the slightest as to who says anything about it :-

1:- Nobody here complained when seeking these loans.
2:- Where else could you turn at the time?
3:- The fact that the redress is being looked at for you is a good thing.
4:- Stating that you wish they were not in the UK is daft as per above comments as who will certain people use when stuck in future ?

The whole payday arena has changed and all Companies trading in the UK are under scrutiny and are also doing things right, Yes they were lapse in the past but just screaming it was not my fault I took a loan out is stupid, The lenders did not force these upon you and redress where due is right, I know of lot's of cases whereby people are complaining but lied when applying for a loan and get nothing as deserved.

This whole mentality of blame is ludicrous and certain people are vindictive to say the least, If you are complaining for a valid reason then fair enough but you cannot expect results in your favour if you lied.
  • We are in the same boat MARKOS mine was passed on for an ombudsmen to pick up last thurs for QQ & P2P

    Fingers crossed.
