Id be interested to know how they define "unaffordable".
I'm pleased you had a result with them, but my complaint was sent, read, responded too, and turned down, all within a few hours, I wonder how one can be offered settlement straight away, and the other dismissed out of hand ?

I wonder if was my particular case handler then, as I can't really see any other reason why, although they were one of my final creditors, they must have seen how many more I had taken out before and I was pretty quick to arrange a repayment plan with them when I realised I needed to get my life in order.0

Same as PPI claims, depends on the case handler it seems???????????????0

I will be awaiting responses from Quickquid and Paydayuk, will keep posting until I have a end to my complaints.0
-
Regarding Paydayuk - I emailed them 4 times for the account information and never received a reply apart from an acknowledgment each time that someone would contact me within 48hrs. In the end I phoned them and the complaint was logged and I received a confirmation of the complaint email to say they will respond in 8 weeks. Out of the 4 companies I have complained to PDUK were by far the worst at responding.0

Yes jon8sher, I have read nothing but bad reports regarding Paydayuk.0

Had an email from Wonga wanted to confirm my identity - so looks like it is getting processed.0

I too have made contact with Wonga.
It took them 9 days to respond to the original email then a further 4 to respond to the detail confirmation.
They emailed me today to say that it has been passed to the relevant department and their version of the 8 weeks starts today.
Hopefully that should give you an idea - I can imagine they are somewhat swamped at the moment.Starting Debt - £3082.10 - 02/01/16 / Current Debt - £951 - 5 Defaults satisfied

Well done to everyone who has successfully reclaimed money!
I'm in the process of complaining also, so far I've emailed quickquid twice in the past 3 weeks asking for account information but as of yet no response, can I ask what email address you sent this request to Delete33?
I've emailed payday express and wageday advance with my complaints to them, heard nothing and this was 4 weeks ago. The interest paid between these two companies was roughly £4K as I had been rolling over both of them for 14 months at one point! Keen to try and reclaim something as I am now in a dmp as a result of continually borrowing money to pay the interest on these dreadful loans.0
