Ok, update.
Was promised a responce from lending stream on January 4th, clearly this deadline has now passed, so I picked up the phone to them today to request an update on my complaint.
After about 20 mins on hold whilst the call handler got through to complaints, and had read my complaint thread from start to finish, a nice lady proceeded to tell me they make many affordability checks, my experian score was very good, etc etc, and on that basis we had no problem lending to you blah blah.
So for starters, they had my income incorrectly recorded, it was way out.
My old computer freezes up a lot, and apparently this figure had been entered incorrectly, it was about 3 times what I actually earned at the time.
So after a lot of verbal table tennis, she offered me £50 to go away, I polightly declined, sighting the fact I had paid them over £900 in interest charges alone, she then upped the offer to £100, again I declined.
I reminded her that if I was to take this to the FOS it would cost them a further £550 for there referral fee, when I mentioned this, she started to take me more seriously, she said how much would I be prepared to settle for, I gave her a figure, apparently she was only authorised to payout £100 today, so had to refer it to her manager for approval.
So I await there responce, I have been promised a call next week, I shall wait with baited breath lol !!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Hi all Quickquid have E-mailed me within 2 days, a PDF statement of accounts and waffle regarding credit checks and affordability. Will be looking through my statement of accounts in the next few days and will report back. Are quickquid and paydayuk related in any way?0
-
Looking through my history of loans with Quickquid it is obvious I rolled over loans on numerous occasions taking out a new loan to pay off the old loan. I will send a letter to Quickquid and see what response is to my complaint.0

Payday uk have e-mailed me and said they have passed my e-mail to the relevant dept. At this stage I have only asked for statements of all my loans with them. Quickquid e-mailed me this info within 2 days. Are these two companies linked or the same company?0
-
No I don't think they are linked, I have separate complaints with each0

Ok thanks for the reply jon8sher0

i've taken a few payday loans out in the past, and currently am paying 3 of them back through a DMP with Step Change, am i able to write to them and get the interest/charges wiped, and taken off my credit report, or is it likely to mean that that they will no longer accept my DMP.
I have a 2 year history of conga loans rolling into one another, and the last one i had with them the charges were wiped so am just paying back the sum to them, which i was grateful for, but could i get the others back as well?
thanks!0 -

Yes you could.
Written complaint, or email, detailing your reliance on payday loans would be the way to go.
Unaffordability is the key word here.
You COULD have interest and charges refunded, and in some cases balances wiped.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
