Just sit back and wait - the FOS now have an allotted amount of time to look into it... 8 weeks, something like that? I'm sure someone else can confirm for definite. Does it not say on your receipt?

Depends how complicated your complaint is, if the creditor responds in a timely manner, expect to wait 2-3 months on average.

    Can take longer on occasion.

I think the FOS are snowed under with these complaints at the moment....I put my 3 complaints in end of august/September time and they have only just been completed, long process but it just depends if the company plays ball.....they will probably take as long as possible but in the end if you deserve a refund its worth the wait......most of the well known lenders are refunding off there own back so this will affect the time too I guess.......

I'm waiting for QuickQuid to get back to me after I was trapped in a cycle with them for (I am horrified to admit) FIVE YEARS!

    Woody53,

I have only read some of the posts on here but well done you for challenging the unfair and outrageous charges these payday lenders used. I have never used a PDL and would like to think I would never have too.

As it has been said before in this thread you never know what life may suddenly throw at you emotionally and financially; and I for one do not have a huge pot of money to throw at a problem should it arise.

Thanks for sharing your experience woody53.

    Pace :)
    Money scares me.

    Honesty update will arrive shortly......:o
