and all just for someone to tell me I been a naughty boy, dont do it again.
Actually it's not like that at all. I've attended a SAC - not as an offender but as a guest observer in connection with some work that I do. Even as a driver with many years experience I found it quite enlightening. One particular thing that stood out for me was that of the class of about twelve or so, less than half were able to correctly say what the "default" speed limits were for various types of road (though I was not among them).2 -

this time I am able to take the course on line in the comfort of my own home. so thats what I'm doing. and all just for someone to tell me I been a naughty boy, dont do it again.

speed doesnt kill its coming to a instant stop and your internal organs dont when you hit something that does. I have a family mewmber who works as a undertaker they have the coroners contract and get called out to all sorts inc car accidents only a few weeks ago he went to get a lady that had died in a car accident from the scene he said wasnt a mark on her anywhere the accident wasnt that bad but it had ripped the aorta off her heart. She had a seat belt on also.. Also been out to some pretty nasty ones as well. Few years ago middle of night car ran into artic on motorway at in excess of 100 mph the engine actually came clean out the car and was 100 yards or so down the motorway the lad in the car was cut in half . The car hit the lorry right on the back corner of the trailer0

I did a course about 5 years back and I agree with TooManyPoints - if you take it seriously, it can be a good refresher. If you just decide it's something to nod your way through and carry on as before, then you will probably get caught again.I need to think of something new here...0 -

Similar lack of knowledge about the difference between an overtaking lane and a 'fast' lane.
I did find it useful, but it was obvious from the start that some of those present came in with an attitude of indignation and were determined not to participate in a positive way.No free lunch, and no free laptop2 -
