Halifax is open Saturday mornings (mine is anyway)
Or give the cash to family or friend who can bank it during opening hours, they can then transfer you it from their bank0 -
I ended up giving the money to a friend and they just BACS me the amount back. Annoying but thats the easiest way. There really should be an automatic way of getting money into your bank.0

Yes, you only need your bank card to pay money in. No paying in slip requiredjonesMUFCforever said:I think you can pay in with your debit card.

Some banks now accept cheques as photos via the app now, maybe they should accept cash as a photo as well?Malkytheheed said:I ended up giving the money to a friend and they just BACS me the amount back. On a more serious thought, did you bank (or post office) not offer Saturday morning hours?2 -
Is that for every bank? My PO refused when I tried this the other week, all I could think of is the member of staff might of been new but there was no one else serving so I leftNedS said:

Looks like only Nationwide and TSB don't allow depositing cash with a debit card.

I'm still trying to visit as few places as possible but keep ending up with bits of cash from some elderly neighbours that I'm still doing bits of shopping for. I have been ending up paying it in to my Amazon account as other than deliveries the only physical shopping I'm doing is at my local Co-op and I just Paypoint it at the till, showing the barcode on my phone. Works fine, shows up instantly to spend. Any Paypoint, epay, post office or Poundland (!!) can do this. If the bar code is too much faff you can ask for an Amazon claim code which is basically a top-up voucher you type in to your account later. Any amount from £5 to £250.0
