Hi took out a new insurance policy 2 months ago, but I never knew you couldn’t use no claims on two vehicles at the same time, my other policy is due to run out December however the car is still in use, my new insurance company have asked for proof of my no claims and pictures of the log book and of my licence.

i have replied to the company saying that it was a honest mistake as I was informed by a family member that I could have two cars on the same no claims.

do you think my insurance will cancel me or just adopt the quote to 0 years no claims rather than 2 years
Most will requote based on 0 NCD, however if its cheaper to have this policy at 0 NCD and the other vehicle retain its NCD or to cancel the other policy, keep the NCD on this one and buy a new policy on a 0 NCD for the other vehicle is a question that would take you some research to find out.

Based on what you are saying I can possibly guess which company you have bought through and would predict the costs to be high to reduce it to 0 NCD (or cancel it)
