How long is taking people to get the offer paperwork through the post from when they recieved notification of offer
Apparently my approval letter/offer was sent out 20th october so 5 working days now. Maybe im being impatient and need to wait 7 WD at least??0 -
I rang earlier (I couldn’t help myself ). They said the gifting letter has been satisfied and they are waiting for the valuation report. They also said they needed to quote that the application process can take up to 22 working days 🙈🤣.alvaronistal said:
Our case is very similar, through broker, 85% LTV and submitted on the 8/10 but valuation was like yours on the 19th. We had the hard search on the 21st. By what I've read here valuations take over 5 days to be received if they're not desktop. Hoping to hear this week, as you would probably do.HJK2017 said:Hello all,
First time poster here. I am a FTB with 85% LTV and have gone through a broker. I am becoming anxious waiting to hear back from NW.
Here is my timeline:
DIP: 03/09
Full application submitted: 14/10
Full application received: 14/10
Valuation booked: 14/10 for 19/10
Hard search shown on Equifax: 24/10
I haven’t heard anything back from the valuation 🤷♀️ Think I might ring them up tomorrow.Hopefully the valuation report comes back soon, as all this waiting is giving me anxiety lol.Fingers cross we hear something this week!0 -
Well, I'm now joining you on the bandwagon having had the text and email to say our application has been submitted today. It's been quite a journey to even get this far. Long story! Anyway, I will post up our timeframes as we progress through - but I'm no longer expecting to be moving before Xmas
. Our vendor's EA has advised us that their purchase is no longer progressing (their vendor pulled out) so they are back looking at properties - sigh.

Afternoon all.
Application submitted a month ago. Just got an email saying our application has been accepted by the underwriters. But now the application has disappeared from my account when I log in and I'm not sure what to do now? This normal?0 -
Fingers crossed for you!HJK2017 said:

We have some of the deposit gifted, too, but they haven't asked for the letter yet. Did you send it straightaway? Might do that if it quickens the process...Nationwide Mortgage (FTB & 85% LTV)
Timeline:Application submitted 8/10
Valuation scheduled on 10/10 for 19/10
Valuation re-scheduled on 19/10 for 26/10
Hard Credit Check (Credit Karma) 21/10
Valuation 26/10
Valuation approved 26/10
Mortgage offer issued 27/100 -
I was asked for the gifted deposit form as one of the initial documents when I submitted my DIP- however looking on the Nationwide website this form is only if the deposit is only over £10,000. So if it's less maybe you don't need to send anything.alvaronistal said:Fingers crossed for you!

Start of week 6 today since the application and I’m keeping everything crossed that we get some good news this week! 🤞🏻Although we haven’t heard a thing about the valuation yet! 😩
Good luck everyone that’s waiting on a decision!1 -

Ah makes sense, our gift is just £5,750, so might not be needed at all.scots1991 said:
