when I saw hen I said his site I meant his email MSE money tips that comes out every Wednesday. It was the last week of PPI claims and he said to do it yourself with the link. I didn’t go on Facebook or any other and as he always says not to do it through a 3rd party you can do it yourself, this is what I did. I’m none the wiser now what we should be doing.0

Where did the link take you? resolver?
As mentioned, ask ingenious for proof you signed up to them.helpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -

That only ever mentions Resolver. Not a template.
I’m none the wiser now what we should be doing.I will repeat what I posted earlier...
Ask the CMC for a copy of your contract as you have no recollection of employing them and wish to see proof that you did. If they cannot provide it or its a fake signature, then make a complaint (they are now regulated, albeit light touch) and you get access to the FOS with them.
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
Thankyou, who is CMC, is it Ingenious that I should contact.0

The resolver site does have a template/form on the site which is what OP could be talking about - you put in the name of the firm and then choose your complaint type, reasons etc@valeriejean - CMC is claims management company, the people who claim you have a contract1 -

Just on the FOS, IG are not a claims management company, they're solicitors so don't come under the remit of FOS. Instead rejected complaints should go to the Legal Ombudsman.

Its getting hard to remember which ones have changed from CMC to legal. All bit of a mess really that they can choose higher regulation or lower regulation and avoid rules that apply to one and not the other.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). They haven't changed from a CMC.0 -
I have been getting emails and texts from Ingenious Legal for about 6 months now despite me responding to tell them I have no idea who they were and was certain I had never employed a firm to claim PPI for me. I also clicked on the link on the regular newsletter from Martin Lewis Money Saving Expert "MSE's Money Tips" which advised you don't need to employ anyone to do it for you, you can do it yourself, just click on this click and fill in the form...which I did.
I asked Ingnious Ltd to send me a copy of a signed contract as proof and they eventually sent me a form with a clearly forged signature and a scribbled date resembling the writing of a 10 year old and bore no resemblance to the style or content of my own signature. Most of the details of how, when and where I completed the form 'look' correct, however several of my supposed details were totally incorrect such as my date of birth and my previous address.
They are now threatening me with debt collectors if I don't pay up within 7 days (...er now 1 day!) so I am interested to see how those communications proceed.
I was just going to say that I am in the process of reporting Ingenious Legal Ltd to the Solicitors Regulatory Authority but since starting this post I have received a call from IGL Finance Dept Manager to confirm they are going to cancel the debt they say I owe them. When I receive written confirmation I will cancel my report to the SRA.

please let me know how this goes for you. I am in same position and have sent them a SAR today. No way is it my signature which I keep telling them. Phone calls texts emails. I will take this as far as I can because I did not instruct this company!0
