I don't read any newspapers TBH.csgohan4 said:veryintrigued said:The money section of the Daily Mail has come.up trump's time and time again for decent information.
Whilst I don't read the Daily Mail the snobbery on here towards the full publication is widespread and baffling.
Why don't you read the Daily Mail veryintrigued, I am intrigued indeed. Personal choice is not snobbery, but the drama is one reason why I don't read the daily mail and their cousins.
Little time for their political (left or right) paymasters or 'lets campaign for A, which they get, and then campaign for not A' type of, keep them in a job, journalism.1 -

Whereas the main section of the DM has too much clickbait for my taste, I find the financial section excellent.
That is also true of their podcast in association with This is Money and Simon Lambert - a;podcast I never miss.5 -
The article is stating facts. Nothing to do with the newspaper itself.RG2015 said:
Does this invalidate the information within this news report?csgohan4 said:Daily Mail is not even worth wiping my bum with, let alone reading
For those eschewing the article, this does suggest good news for savers for the next 12 months.0 -

And what a good idea to turn to the much trusted NS&I. And I have no obscene views on The Daily Mail ( though I don't read it) nor any other newspaper.happy_hazelnuts said:.We want your cash! Tell that to everyone wanting to open accounts with recent table topping savings providers like Marcus, Cynergy or Ford Money, those financial institutions along with many many others don't want your money!!!!What financial institution doesn't want your money? Banks love you to put your money into them.1 -
Don't want to hijack the thread, but do wonder if they'll get round to developing "Covid recovery bonds" along the lines of war bonds?0

Daily Mail Money pages carry some good stories. But he page is almost unusable for me now because of the pop-up ads. Very reminiscent of pron sites 20 years (speaking for a friend).
