Daily Mail Money pages carry some good stories.  But he page is almost unusable for me now because of the pop-up ads.  Very reminiscent of pron sites 20 years (speaking for a friend).

Thanks, but I do use ADP.  For me Daily Mail stopped rendering for me unless I disabled it for that site a while back.  Maybe I'll try again.  The reality is I stopped visiting it when they did that!  Thanks again.

Don’t know if this is any use to you:-

DailyMail online won’t run on my Win-10 laptop using Google Chrome, MS Edge or Firefox unless AdBlock Plus is disabled.

However, DailyMail online runs perfectly (ad-free) using Google Chrome, MS Edge or Firefox with UBlock Origin active.

@Biggus_Dickus, does cashback via TopCashback and Quidco still work when you have UBlock Origin enabled?
If it doesn't, you can just disable Ublock for that particular site

I have tried exactly that but goodness knows whether it worked. There was just a blank screen. My best bet is probably use a different browser, with no extensions, when I make a cashback purchase.

Can't help but feel like this is not good value for taxpayers. When the yields on short dated gilts are negative and they're sub-1% for even 30 years why is the gov offering table topping rates to savers?

Because they are hoping savers will remember them come the next election? Not that this promises a winning strategy.

10 weeks plus waiting for ISA transfer,  2 weeks or more delay in processing new accounts and deposits.
They seem to have gotten way more demand than they can cope with !

I suspect NS&I will want more funds for add long as the government has to borrow do much money!
The one thing I haven't worked out is how long it takes after a debit card deposit is made, how long before it becomes available for withdrawal (Direct Saver)?
I can't speak re: ISA transfers but opening accounts online seems to be quick enough.
I just wish they had an app (not just for  Premium Bonds) that would remember your NS&I number!

It takes up to 7 days for debit card deposits to clear but interest is earned from the day of deposit. This is mentioned in the T&Cs.
