We have just received our mortgage offer from Platform in the following timescales -

Application submitted - 22nd April
Valuation - 2nd May
Underwriters queries - 4th May
Mortgage offer - 7th May

Another frustrated porting customer...

5 weeks after initial call and me chasing everyday to get my mortgage illustration corrected, we finally recieved this 7.5.21. 

Platform recieved our completed form 10.5.21 (recorded delivery)

The valuer was instructed 14.5.21. 

Called today and was told no update, they don't expect to look at our application for another 3-5 weeks! 

Waiting for the complaints team to call me back but after reading this thread I don't hold out much hope...

Just a query . We’re in the process of porting our mortgage . To say it’s been painful and stressful is a huge understatement and I seriously feel we are at risk of losing both our sale and purchase. Now I find out they’ve been dishonest about the waiting times . 

Wondering if anyone has actually survived the crazy waiting times only for platform not to make a formal offer right at the end?? We’re contemplating jumping ship to another company but the erc is high .

Has anyone had any recent updates on timescales. Our application went in on the 29th July, additional info requested 5th august, valuation was yesterday. Does the application go to the underwriter before the valuation or after?

We are in a similar boat, application 26th July, they are quoting mid October before it goes to an underwriter then its +10 days for confirmation and +15 days for a final completion date. (had valuation a week or so after our application) There is a potential we lose the whole chain due to the next stamp duty deadline and us taking so long but we are locked in with ERC charges

We are just about to embark on a Platform mortgage application, at the recommendation of a broker.

Has anyone had any experience with them recently? The horror stories do concern me a bit.
