I'm waiting for them to come back to something that was sent on Tuesday, they usually come back in a few days so let's see.0 -

Within a week the valuation had been booked and it went through fine. The next time I heard was a week or so later when they wanted some info regarding my deposit. Then I didn’t hear much until the 19/11 when I received an offer! It was at this stage that I realised my solicitor is useless so I changed. I had to full out another form and send it to them which they had sorted within a week. So the new solicitor got on with the job. During the search they found that a piece of land at the end of garden which had a brick shed built on it, was not in the property deed! Platform referred the information back to the underwriter who was happy there was no change to the value and they’re happy to proceed with a suitable indemnity policy. After some discussions between solicitors, this was soon done. All this leads up to completion which was today! I spoke to platform yesterday who said they’ve carried out “final checks” so it would appear they are checking us right until the last moment! I found platform to be quite helpful and everything went much easier than I had thought after reading some of your experiences!
is it on your credit file?
i know how you feel, half way through my process I got a letter (from Lowell, notorious debt collectors) saying I defaulted on an electricity account 4 years ago! For what ever reason it wasn’t on my file and still isn’t!0 -

Offer received today from Platform but the rate and monthly payments are more than I was “quoted”. I expected my mortgage broker to pick up on this but they haven’t so I’ve queried it and await their response. Has anyone had this before!?0

Hi all, I hope this is the right place to raise the query. Platform offered me mortgage on 1st March. The property has 3 titles, 1 is the home, 2nd is part of the garden and 3rd part as well is other part of the garden. My conveyancer emailed me the below. Has anyone come across this below? Is this common? Or of any concern?
..........On review of your mortgage offer, we are required to report the following to your lender.
Please note that our client is also purchasing the additional title ((Removed by Forum Team) and (Removed by Forum Team)) which is a land lying on the South side and other is Land on the south side along with main title ((Removed by Forum Team)). Also note that we will amend the mortgage deed and COT to include all the titles and update the property address on the mortgage deed to include the same.
Please amend your records to reflect the correct address and let us have a revised offer or confirmation that you have done so and we may proceed On the basis of the current offer.

Hi
Frustrated porting customer with Platform here! Just wondered if anyone has any experience with current wait times from application being approved to offer documents being sent? We had a text on 18th March saying our application was approved and still don't have the documents! Every time I phone they say we'll have it by X date, and that comes and goes and I call again and they move the date and I'm just becoming very frustrated as its holding our entire chain up! Has anyone had any recent experience with this? Thanks.
