We completed today and recieved the keys! Took almost 7 weeks from start to finish.

We got our offer in just over a month. Application went in on 17th July, Valuation on 5th August, offer received in post 18th August.

No, but the broker rang once for us. Good luck!!

Oh dear. The later timescales look much more favourable than the ones we are experiencing with Platform. 
We are porting and borrowing extra. They received our application on 6th Aug, survey instructed for 1st September. Called earlier today and our application has not been vetted yet. They reiterated to us that it is still 6-8 weeks to offer. Optimistically hoping it is at the 6 week mark on 17th September for our offer as our buyers are getting very frustrated with the wait and as of next week they are having to do a 50 mile round trip for the school run. I feel terrible but there is not much we can do but wait or it would have been paying the ERC to move on to another bank. 

Any other progress updates from others?

We are FTB as opposed to porting/borrowing extra so I'm not sure if that makes a difference at all, but we submitted on the 4th August, valuation was carried out on the 18th, our broker chased on Tuesday (3 weeks after application) to be told that they hadn't even started looking at applications submitted in August yet as they are so backlogged. He was told it will probably be looked at next week sometime, although I'm not getting my hopes up too much. We originally had our offer accepted a week before lockdown so we are very used to waiting at the moment!

That’s similar to what our MA was told on Thursday too, Jadek. 

Our application was submitted on 5th August, and nothing has happened yet. She was told on Thurs that they were dealing with applications from 1-3rd Aug, so ours will be considered this next week. We’ve paid to upgrade to Homebuyers survey, so I hope that doesn’t delay things too much. 

Waiting is horrible and it’s even worse with Platform, as the only way to get any information is via the MA. I didn’t realise quite how much I like to be in control and be able to track progress myself until this!

We are 7 weeks in now (application submitted 8th July). Been told it’s approved subject to valuation and that was supposed to have happened on Friday so hoping to hear mid next week 🤞 our solicitors searches and queries are done so I’m glad we instructed solicitors at the same time as we submitted the application. Once the offer is through I’m hoping things will move faster
