Heard back today - I paid about £200 to upgrade from the free valuation to a home buyers report. As I paid they waited until after underwriting to book the valuation apparently. They came back today to query some things on bank statement and ask for proof of deposit (which I won’t have until next week) but they’ve booked the valuation in now. So just waiting until next payslip to get over the 15% deposit and hoping the valuation goes smoothly!0

So assume your approved subject to valuation then. Was there anything specific they were querying on bank statements or just general transactions? Good luck with the valuation - do you know when they booked it in for (we applied similar times so hopefully that gives me some idea of their current backlogs)?0 -
Yea through broker and it was just general queries about transactions nothing major. Not sure on dates I've just been told a valuation has been instructed. Will update when I get news of dates.0

Would love to know what they queried? Do they work on a Sunday? When did your application go in?“Oh, so you think darkness is your ally? But you merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn’t see the light until I was already a man, by then to me it was only blinding. The shadows betray you because they belong to me.”0

sorry for all the questions lol“Oh, so you think darkness is your ally? But you merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn’t see the light until I was already a man, by then to me it was only blinding. The shadows betray you because they belong to me.”0

No idea if they work on Sundays but my MA emailed me yesterday with the update. It was nothing major - they were just querying why my partner was sending me money towards bills each month when we don't live together (she's a named cardholder on my American Express card that we both do all of our spending on which is what the transfers were for). We sent our application in on 8/7/2020 and yesterday was our first update.0

Hi, wondering if anyone has made progress with platform? Since the last message on this post.0

I sent over the updated proof of deposit yesterday and my MA phoned them today - I've been told my case has been marked to be reviewed tomorrow and if they are happy with the docs then they will instruct valuation.
The waiting is frustrating but it is what it is! Fingers crossed all goes well tomorrow and the valuation gets booked in this week.0 -

Likewise I have had no major updates, it would be interesting to know if Platform underwrite before instructing valuation or after, or indeed whether it just depends. But haven't managed to find that information online.0
