    lol, thanks.
  • I can't handle hangovers either nowadays, it's the poor quality 'drunk' sleep that causes it I think.

Anyway here's a tip on cutting out the cause in the first place. I used to drink about six pints of 4.5% bitter in the pub on a Saturday night. Now I've changed to 3 pints of 3.6% bitter alternated with three pints of bitter shandy. You get a nice 'high' but you don't get trashed, and it's cheaper as well.

As long as you can put up with jokes about shandy drinking puffs etc you'll be alright! ;D

If you ARE planning on getting trashed then Milk Thistle tablets (from the health food shop) are recommended as they kind of 'help' your liver along.

For a hangover I always swear by a cooked breakfast, a pint of water and a couple of parecetamol.
Just run, run and keep on running!

Always try a drink a pint of water before you go to sleep, then you wake up early to go to the loo. Then take to paracetamol another pint of water had go back to sleep, even for 30 minutes is long enough for things to start working again!
    Smile it confuses people!

I definitely agree with squarecat a couple of pints of water before you go to sleep and you 'shouldn't ' get a hangover in the morning!

Also i find fried eggs work a treat, apparently it has been tried and tested as one of the best cures.

Hope you feel better later on :-*

Mind you i cant talk at all, i went out for a ' quiet ' drink after work at 5, 11 o'clock i was still there, went home, had a cuury, went to bed, woke up this morning feeling like i've got a small gnome with a toffee hammer in my head!!!! :o

I agree. If I can manage the second fried egg, it is usually a sign that I shall live........ eventually.

    White.
