My heating and hot water predicament sounds exactly like yours! Unfortunately reading the update unless you are installing insulation or a ground/air pump first then there’s no option for help with a new boiler. I was hoping for a different result too.0

I've got double glazing installed probably 30 years ago, with the old 12mm gap, I too was hoping to replace this..... Better to give landlords the money instead of homeowners I suppose.0

Hi All,How do I go about applying for this? My house is in severe need of insulation after having been duped when I bought it in 2013.Also, my house was built in 2002/2003 - would this count as a 'new build' thus rendering me ineligible to apply for the loan?0

It won't be as insulated as a brand new house but it should certainly not be having a problem with lack of insulation.1 -

There are 2 rooms in particular with a severe problem. In winter, I have to set my thermostat to 26 just so these 2 rooms can get to 20 degrees. I haven't had anything done in these 2 rooms as I've been planning to get them insulated but got scuppered bt Covid19.
Would my house therefore be covered?1 -
Would residential park homes be eligible for the green deal grant0

Is there a government approved advice service to survey existing properties and recommend measures, please?
In this instance for an elderly (98yrs) person owning a flat with a confused and adapted heating system and vast expanses of single glazed and ill-fitting Victorian windows and doors0 -
I to would like to replace the double glazing in my house as it has gaps and is warped in places. My home was built in 2002 but I discovered when I bought it 5 years ago that there was no cavity wall insulation despite Bellway having signed the insulation certificate to say they'd fitted it. Sadly there was no government scheme at the time so I ended up paying almost £200 to get it done and to top up roof insulation. I'm hoping by mentioning 'solar' in the information, it means I could get help with solar panels.:hello:On mortgage pay off countdown. Less than 8 years to go. :j Won £50 Amazon voucher for filling in a survey, £100 shopping voucher, £20 Odeon voucher, £20 bowling voucher :T Doing a £2 terramundi jar challenge but everyone else seems to have the same challenge as there don't seem to be many £2 coins around!:p0

If it sounds too good to be true it is. My double glazing is about 35 years old and obviously inefficient. I was hoping to have a new set of windows but am not eligible it seems even though I’m a pensioner on pension credit. Perhaps windows of a certain age should be considered for replacement !0
