Hi everyone, I have read the NEWBIES post but still need help.I have received approx 30 letter in the post from DCBL stating that this is a notice of debt recovery - unpaid parking charges of £140 on each letter. The contravention dates go back to 2018. This is parking in a Tesco car Park over the amount of hours necessary allegedly. What can I do, I’m now terrified!! I saw some information about ignoring but then another said not to so i am confused. Please help!0

The threads for newbies don't work; the links are broken or lead nowhere.

I've just checked a couple and some are broken for me too. I suspect the forum downgrade is to blame.
For instance https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/faqs/how-do-i-ask-a-question-on-the-forum/?_ga=2.42077420.83139850.1583949942-1911727322.1581105142. Says service unavailable
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/faq.php?faq=vb3_board_faq#faq_vb3_board_usage No longer exists.
After those first two (that explain how to use the forum) the other links on the board work fine.3 -
Hi. A few months ago I received a penalty notice from Highview Parking for parking in local shopping centre for over 4 hours. Firstly you would be hard pushed to spend 4 hours there as its quite small and secondly I'm a single guy who hates shopping at best of times. I appealed but was unsuccessful and wrote to them suggesting my number plate was cloned as I was no way there over 4 hours. Or their cameras are not working correctly at time. I'm now receiving letters from Debt Recovery Plus saying they will drop fine/additional charges from £156 to £139.50. I'm a single Dad and that's alot of money. Any advice please?0

Hello, my son got a letter or PCN to registered keeper from UKP UK parking LTD (the Creditor) for the full amount of £118.00 because he didn't pay it or appeal in time, problem was he didn't have a PCN attached to his windscreen, I went to their site to appeal and they have photographs showing the ticket attached and the notice to pay and display so I couldn't use the template provided to complain and appeal. It was issued at Castle car park, Jennings yard, river street Windsor Berkshire so now not sure what my options are, do I write and say the ticket must have been removed (which sounds lame) and can I have another 14 days to pay the lesser amount or do I still try to complain. The other problem I have is finding the land owner to complain to, it happened during the lock down near the end of May which at the time all the public car parks in Surrey (as far as I am aware) have free parking policy, any advice please?1
