We’ve just bought a 57(2008) fiesta 1.4tdci mot due Feb, had it 24hrs and it’s acting up coughing and spluttering, didn’t see anything to do with MOT before we bought other than it had a current one, now I’ve looked at the paper work we were given afterwards there was an advisory of injector seal blowing repair replace if needed, should this be done under warranty?
You don't need any paperwork. You can check MOT records of any vehicle now, online. There are records of all the passes and fails and all the advisories, too. Paperwork is outmoded and outdated and if you just check online, you can save yourself a lot of trouble. It's what I did when I wanted to buy another car. Some cars fail consistently before they pass and those are obviously the ones we don't want.

You need to check the terms of the warranty, too so you know what is and is not included. Not all warranties are the same, something else I found out by experience. When you're a woman you have to be extra vigilant because car salesmen are the worst! Fortunately, the law's tightening up in connection with used car sales but you still have to be on your guard.

I'm assuming that the person bought the Fiesta from a dealer hence the warranty and it going belly up in 24 hours, the dealer has a responsibility of some type, surely, ie sell a road worthy car.

Btw, an "advisory" is defo not a mandotary but as I said, sales of good act, etc, etc. I'm not to hot on MOT's other than it is the safety of the vehicle and these days emissions whatever that is and an MOT does not mean the car is a reliable, good car.
Buying a car more thna 4/5 years old without a FSH preferably by a main dealer at regular as required intervals is a must but even then no gurantee you'll end up with a pile of rubbish.
