Is your flight on 2nd August still going ahead ?
If rescheduled for some future date, will that allow the online travel app to be attempted again with revised data ?

The travel operators are reportedly lobbying the government to exempt the Balearics and Canaries from the FO no travel advice.
Maybe you will get the go signal on 2nd August ?
Don't cancel the airport car park reservation just yet !!!

Can not see it changing in the next 5 days but having said that you never know. We have not been told officially by Jet2 that the holiday is cancelled but our travel agent has said that we can wait and if/when cancelled we will get a full refund OR we can choose another holiday and they will switch it over at no cost.
The only possibly safe choice would be somewhere in Greece but as we have had three holidays cancelled in the last 12 months ( Thomas Cook, Newyork with the Pandemic and now the Canaries ) who would put money on us getting a holiday abroad this year ,although i am sure there will be plenty of people saying we should not go anywhere because of the risk of Covid.
