Yes but try doing it and putting in say your passport number with your wife,s name ( which my laptop did via autofill ) and the website throws it out and will not let you try again with the correct info.NoodleDoodleMan said:I did it on our laptop - no problems.0 -
Have you tried deleting your cookies and browsing history?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

Just ask a young person to do it for you, for crying out loud 🤣0

Does no body read all the posts before replying,i completed my application then tried to complete my wifes ,whilst filling in the info required the computer auto filled in some of the info which i did not notice ,the web site threw the application out as you cannot try to do it twice with different info! i contacted the web site by e-mail and they said there was nothing they could do as the web site cannot handle mistakes and to use a paper application which they e-mailed me.0

Also there appears to be no App available on the Apple Store web site yet but apparently it is required for travel to Spain.0

"Yes but try doing it and putting in say your passport number with your wife,s name"Why would I try inputting false data ?It would be rejected.

Here's a suggestion - probably flawed.Open a new online application - https://www.spth.gob.es/createDon't input your wife's surname until all other fields are completed, where possible.Perhaps her unique passport number will be recognised as a separate application to yours ?A different email address, if not already attempted might help ?Worth a try ?I have just searched for the Apple app (again) on my iPad - no success.

Thanks for helping ,i tried a new application with a different e-mail address but unfortunately it still did not work so we will have to go with the paper application , i am sure that a lot of people on the plane will not know they need to do this application on line so we will not be the only visitors having to sort this out at the airport at Gran Canaria.NoodleDoodleMan said:Here's a suggestion - probably flawed.Open a new online application - https://www.spth.gob.es/createDon't input your wife's surname until all other fields are completed, where possible.Perhaps her unique passport number will be recognised as a separate application to yours ?A different email address, if not already attempted might help ?Worth a try ?I have just searched for the Apple app (again) on my iPad - no success.0 -
Did you try entering your wife's passport number first, then a different email address avoiding the auto filled fields and overriding them for last entries ?Not that I know much about such electronic forms - but a unique passport number appears to me (don't laugh too loudly) to be the one data field that can't be autofilled for a different application. Maybe somebody with more expertise can clarify ?You are correct about punters arriving in Spain unaware of this requirement. It was only browsing around this forum that I clocked another member mentioning it.It's also going to be a pointless exercise if an Apple app doesn't appear in good time. I have an old Android device somewhere but I don't want to have to take it to the Canaries unless absolutely unavoidable.I emailed the Spanish authorities and the response would be much the same as yours I expect. I'll post it if it's of interest.0

Yes please, i think what happens is the web site recognises the name and passport number and as it has been imputed before, throws it outNoodleDoodleMan said:Did you try entering your wife's passport number first, then a different email address avoiding the auto filled fields and overriding them for last entries ?Not that I know much about such electronic forms - but a unique passport number appears to me (don't laugh too loudly) to be the one data field that can't be autofilled for a different application.
