Travel App for Spain

I wonder if anyone can help me with a problem regarding the above. We are due to travel to the Canary Islands next month with Jet2 ,we have passports, insurance etc. but Jet2 are saying on their website that we have to complete forms and download the App onto our mobile phones to be allowed to enter Spain.
The App is  Spth but i am unable to find it on the Apple App store on my phone, now i know we could simply pack our mobiles in our suitcases and play dumb at the airport but would rather abide by the rules, any help regarding the App would be appreciated.

I wonder if they mean this:

    Testing/screening on arrival

On arrival, travellers entering Spain from the UK will not be required to self-isolate.

However, you will be subject to the following three requirements:

    • Provide the Spanish Ministry of Health with contact information and any history of exposure to COVID-19, 48 hours prior to travel. You can do this on the Spain Travel Health website or downloadable app. It is mandatory for all passengers travelling to Spain to fill out and sign the online form associated with your trip, regardless of your nationality or residency status. On completion, you will be issued a personal and non-transferable QR code which you must show (electronically or hardcopy) at airport health controls on arrival
    • Temperature check
    • Undergo a visual health assessment
There's nothing else on the FO website about apps being a requirement.

You can fill in a form on arrival but it's like a scrum .

Do it 48 hours before on the website and it emails a QR code to you to print out. They just scan that on arrival.

Each traveller needs a we code

I managed to get through to Jet2 on the phone this morning and spoke to a member of staff who said that she could not help me, i explained that the info regarding visiting Spain was on their web site on the manage my bookings page . I enquired about the form to fill in and would it be available on the plane? she did not know and did inform me that Jet2 cannot help with Visa,s etc that it was down to the customer to sort out their own.
When i asked about the App that was needed she knew nothing about it but when pressed she said it was not available from the Apple App Store yet but was due to be released.
I have managed to fill out the form for myself on line but when i tried to complete one for my wife my computer auto filled in some of the details and the form was rejected, once you have tried it will not let you re-apply with the same person even with different I/D numbers ( you can use passport/national insurance numbers etc ) i e mailed the web site and they have sent me a paper version which i have filled in for her and we will have to take our chances at the airport.

You can fill in as much as possible online, then wait until a couple of days before departure to complete.
Doesn't appear to be an Apple app available to download at the present time.

I was able to complete my wife's details (as far as is possible ahead of the flight) on a separate electronic form without any issues.
The only section that caused any temporary difficulty was the address where it asked for an apartment number (we live in a  bungalow) - it eventually accepted 0 (zero).
National Insurance number will not be a recognised entry for that field as far as I can see.

Try entering your wife's details using a different browser as this should stop the auto fill feature using previously entered information.

Thanks for replying, i have tried it on my mobile phone and it will not work ,i think that the web site recognizes the info going in and throws it out because it remembers the original wrong info if this makes sense .
Hopefully when we go to Gran Canaria on the 2 nd of August the airport will be not be as busy as it would normally be so HOPEFULLY no problems.
  • I did it on our laptop - no problems.
