They cannot get involved unless the debt is £600 or over.D_P_Dance said:Use DCBL they charged me a reasonable £66
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.5 -
Indeed. However HCEO have no right of entry in to a domestic premises (or a commercial premises where access to a connected domestic premise is through the same entrance). They are effective against someone who is unwitting or unprepared but against someone who knows their rights and ready for them then they are are of little use and once they realise they are unable to collect will soon return the case to their client.bargepole said:

So despite their fancy words and threats they really are not to be feared and can be easily seen off.2 -
But as bargepole has suggested, I cannot use DCBL as the debt is under £600 - is that correct?BrownTrout said:

A company like DCBL wears 3 hats, debt collectors, legals for the county court and High Court Bailiffs. £600 and above is for the High Court to instruct.lyndonp59 said:

£95 for you remains within the county court and their bailiffs3 -

If that is correct, there are plenty who will. I have a drawer full of duns for small amounts from DCAs for a mystery tenant. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
VCS are a commercial entity so right of entry is allowed and they will seize goods if needed
if you can find any account details to pay THEM you can also get it garnished directly from those accounts.3 -
They always quote bank details on thier "settlement offer letter" just make sure its the bank account in the name of vcs"nosferatu1001 said:VCS are a commercial entity so right of entry is allowed and they will seize goods if needed

Would annoy them having the account frozen more then anyone turning up!4 -
Interesting. Does that go on the N323 warrant of control application or is it a different form?nosferatu1001 said:VCS are a commercial entity so right of entry is allowed and they will seize goods if needed

I am intending ringing them prior to sending the email just for the fun of seeing if anybody is prepared to speak to me and see what they have to say. Those **** Bwlegal rang us 53 times even after our son had moved out😡 We have six years don’t we to claim?!!!0 -
