Anyone thinking about buying Doc Marten when they float?0

123mat123 I only started to mention my holdings a couple of months ago and have mentioned just four small companies in which I own shares. The share price of all four has risen in the weeks AFTER I first mentioned them.3

with travel corridors closed, be prepared for another bumpy ride with IAG and other airlines stocks on Monday, I am expecting another dip, probably 10-20% similar to recent and then a gradual increase around 15/2.
Good to buy if it is your risk appetite to do so."It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

A few weeks later the share price was 83pDKL I first mentioned my holding on 10th December 2020 when the share price was around 3.50p. A few weeks later the share price was 5.80pEQT I first mentioned my holding on 16th December 2020 when the share price was around 1.12p. I would hope that all will continue with the progress they have made in the last few years which is finally starting to come together. You could argue that EQT is further along than PHE and yet the latter has the higher share price. EQT has lots of stuff in the pipeline and is now concentrating on bringing deals to closure. Both have partnerships with others which should help them grow. I believe that Peel have the know-how to speed-up the roll-out for PHE. I would hope to hear of AFC signing deals in the coming months but everything takes time. DKL is a much easier call. Given the current high palm oil price and DKL's peak season just about to start and with cashew processing which I understand has a high profit margin, due to begin shortly, it is hard to imagine DKL not doing well this year. You ask if I would invest more ? Having gradually over time built-up a sizeable shareholding in each company and having reached my holding targets, I have stopped buying shares in these companies and am now topping -up my shareholdings in other of my small companies where the price is currently low. . However, I have no plans to sell my holdings in these four companies and as long as I believe they will be successful , I will continue to hold their shares, though I may sell a few from time to time on spikes in the share price.4

Watch out BNGO (Bionano Genomics) and it might be worthy to invest time to research and study what the Saphyr System as a Novel Diagnostic Tool for optical genome mapping could do.
This is just one example.
I was late to the party but managed to catch the dip early January, where I have started building a small position early January @$4.80. I wish I bought more.
Early January they made a share offer.
The price dip a while and back to long time high in a very short time. This is a very good sign that the institutional investors believe in this stock and high probability it might explode in the future. Also share offer when the price is high, is a good sign that the business is growing; thus need more cash. Also with recent more cash available to grow business the chance it is going bangkrupt in a foreseable future is almost nil.
The institutional investors currently holding this stock

It is already making a run but, but there is still much room to grow given the current price which could still be considered as a penny stock. I will definitely add my position when they are making a dip again.
Successful Visionary institutional investors focusing on growth stock (rather than dinosaur stock) have predicted the areas that will grow much faster in the future e.g Blockchain/Genesis technology, Genomic/Gene editing and mapping, EV/ESG stocks.
The other sectors are online gambling/sport betting, Marjuana/Cannabis Stocks due to legalisation in North America, Canada and probably later most part of the worlds.
Investing in BioTEch itself is already very risky, let alone this is still a penny stock, so consider this stock as a highly speculative punt and only invest the money you could effort to lose.
People expecting the same risk with a saving account and/or well known mutual/index fund, should stay away from the stock like this and do not even touch it with a barge pole.
Please do your own DDs. We take the gain, but we also need to take the loss for our own decision.
