Suggestions for a speculative punt?

As most here know, Digger Mansions cashed in it's winning chips for gold a while back and have no exposure to any sort of punt. That being said, I'm having a bit of fun with The Telegraph Fantasy Fund. I can't pick all sectors I suggested earlier in the thread because it is only FTSE 350 companies that are allowed. I've deliberately avoided fantasy gold because it would bore me.
But as things stand I'm at position 40** out of 133***. Anybody else playing?
To stay on topic I would suggest a punt on the sugar barons. The Brexit debate raised this in the past with changes to using sugar beet, this piece is an unusual type of insight from an unexpected quarter..._0 -
Maybe too speculative for this thread but... Supply Me Capital anybody? (SYME).
AIM's biggest climber today, 109% increase, and currently at 0.235p / share. Despite everything I've read about not dabbling in AIM shares etc., I fear I've been caught up in some of the online hype about this share. Have done a lot of reading on this share today. Unfortunately, am now suffering from true confirmation bias, to the stage where if I wake up tomorrow and it isn't trading at 100p / share I'll be amazed..!
Bought a nominal (and I mean nominal) amount as I'm curious, but fear I've gotten overexcited. Has anyone else come across or even bought this share?

Step back a bit and look at it again in a few months time.I currently have shares in 8 aim companies. I spend a couple of years following a company before I buy anything. It is folly to buy shares in a small new company before you have carried-out a peroid of research.0

I sold gfin yesterday morning (auto-x from previous night), it rose 17% after I sold, lol...
That's aim for you: it's still a great long term buy but expect it to be traded rather than invested in by big corp for next 12 - 18 months. Still, I made 4 figures so happy.
That aside any1 who bought £40k on St Patricks Day had half a mil on paper yesterday: fair play to them...Admin for Tilly Tidy to £1825 DFW challenge: 2021

'Safeish long term punt' - AMD, amazing new cpus, finally releasing a decent GPU, their chips are in next gen consoles, unlikely Nvidia will purchase ARM, taking server market share from intel. I've had a nice 10% rise last week already, expecting it to hit $70 by xmas
'Gamble' - Amigo, if it gets back to 6p, could easily go back to 10p+ on merest whiff of good news (or it could go chebs up, will disappear), main shareholder dumping his shares at 1% a day, august will be an interesting month.
Potential life changer - Avacta, I'm hoping it to at least double over next month or two. Been trading at £1.20 -> £1.40 for last few weeks, been following these and novacyt for months - news expected imminently3 -
Fastly - not enough of a moat for me.0

I just invested ~£6k in Fastly yesterday and would like to hear your thoughts.Did you notice you have made the right decision !!!Assuming you bought it on August 8, 2020 you have made 10%+ gain by today !!! It may take another few days before it will reach all time high again ??I think it is good to trade against the news where no fundamental change has happened. It might be in line to what Warren Buffet has said :"Be Gready when others are fearful"

Well, the Nio I bought at 15 is down at 13.5 but the tsla at 1500 [just the 4 for a quick buck) is currently a gnats todger off 2000. I will sell those after the split now.
And as BH will know and I did advise him to buy Tesla perhaps a year ago but he slapped me in the face with a short on it instead and made $30 LOL ,my original purchase of TSLA perhaps 18 months ago I s looking more than prescient. I have made enough to buy a Tesla roadster.I did also suggest posters here to buy Apple whenever it was around $100. Not sure when that was. 2 years ago perhaps?Anyone listen? Hope so.But I'm out of ideas on this scale at the moment.
Tesla is still a 2x from here in 12-36 months Apple I'm not sure.0
