Somewhat of a fob off response, but at least you seem to have caused an examination of CSL/CST practices which they have seemingly had to deal with.CSL recovering excessive costs (for example £15 for recovery of the debt), CSL have provided us with a letter from the British Parking Association informing CSL in January 2021 that this fee should not be charged. This puzzles me a bit, because the BPA have given their members carte blanche to add up to £70 debt collection/administration case and have convinced the former MHCLG (subject to the technical consultation results) that they should be included in the PCN model part of the Parking (Code of Practice) Act 2019 roll out!
Thanks for pursuing this so robustly.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

------------Dear ****

CSL have provided us with a letter from the British Parking Association informing CSL in January 2021 that this fee should not be charged.
Please can you ask the SRA for a copy of that letter for your records, given it has no personal data (or they can redact any personal names on it and then supply it to you).
Then can you show it to us here please?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hello fellow forum members. Been a reader for a little while with a PCN now turned into Letter Before Claim from CST Law, and so registered in order to post. Due to personal circumstances in the early period of letters, the POPLA and appeal stages were missed and the further Debt Recovery Plus letters ignored as advised. Have read Newbies post etc and gone down the forum rabbit hole of information and links (advice for which I’m very grateful), and finally posting my SAR (no email address on their website) and Acknowledgment to CST Law draft letters for review and editing before sending…. cobbled together from initial template advice as well as what others have posted. Things can get very confusing after the massive intake of information from various places and cases, so not too sure if I’ve asked the right parties the right things, asked too much or too little etc. Edit as you please - at the moment I can’t see the wood for the trees anymore and your eagle eyes and wisdom will be much appreciated.
My next step is also to try and find the McDonalds manager info and contact them regarding the matter to see if it can be quashed that way - not easily able to get there in person.
The V5C - do I send all 4 pages of this or only first page?
Many thanks all

I think you need someone more sensible than me to answer your questions; I'm just replying to tell you that you've left in one personal name in your otherwise excellent redacting - it's on the letter to CST Law after Yours faithfully...1 -
Have you complained to you MP?You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

This is the sort of rubbish we see from CST throughout this thread.
There was a point where they did not know who the real claimant was ?
They still don't understand, your letter before claim shows the charge was £170 ?
How stupid is that, no parking charge can exceed £100
Whatever they add on is a scam ....... which they have done
CST (AKA CREDIT STYLE) is already under investigation with the SRA
You can contact them asking for a copy of the parking charge notice being £170
Odd thing about CST, they don't like to explain their scam
They have given you the PCN number which they claim is £170 ? THAT'S A LIE
You could also complain to the SRA asking why they lie
