Thank you both for the help, it is much appreciated!

If I send a letter without sending their designated form back within the 30 days, are they likely to take further action or respond to my letter prior?

    Thank you
To whom does the CST letter require you make payment of the £170 - it will tell you on the reverse side.

Ah it does look like DRP..
It's always advisable to read any letter that demands money from you very carefully, both sides. Saves us quite a bit of time.

As Keith says ..... A debt collectors letter. Ignore it.
If CST continue sending you junk such as an LBA then you can respond.

God knows how many scam letters this crazy legal has sent out, must be 1000's
If they carry out their threats, the courts will be full of CST rubbish for years to come

The Mad Hatter as got nothing on this bunch.  The SRA should take action now and get rid of them as it is a scam and on par with Wonga.

3 years ago I got caught out in the ridiculous McDonald’s/Starbucks car park at Stansted (for parking in the wrong car park and walking to McDonald’s apparently).
If they do sue you, then I seem to recall that MET don't use the POFA wording on their NTKs they issued then for that location. Ergo, no keeper liability.

Also you will be able to use the Joe Lycett TV episode (probably on Youtube) about this place as an exhibit for the Judge, that will be a laugh!

  • Quick update:
Sent CST a debt denied email so put on hold - not received any response.
Did get a response from UKCPS to my SAR with various photos and correspondence NTK, appeal etc.
They did not however respond to the specific question of grace periods at this site, which I think is important should this go any further. Their own photos prove an 'overstay' of 8 mins.
Worth contacting them again requesting this specific info??
Also they have not processed the appeal correctly giving the RK no opportunity to further appeal to the ADR.
    Interesting......

You'll only get information about personal data they hold about you and the VRM of your vehicle. Grace period details would not be a legitimate request in a SAR, so no requirement on a PPC to respond on that point.
