By the way as for the Good Web Guide, Computer Mags, The Times best web etc - when they don't mention us - then do send them an email or drop them a letter
Looks like someone took heed of the above message. The following is from Web User issue 111
Quoted from the online version HERE
Hi,
I'm new to web-user both the magazine and the forum so I hope these haven't been mentioned before (I did search and check).
The best site I know for money saving (and it genuinely will save you money) is http://www.moneysavingexpert.com which has a very good ethical policy. Check out the main site for in depth guides to all kinds of financial information. Sign up to the newsletter or browse the forums to get the latest news on offers etc.
Still on the money saving issue but totally different sites are http://www.greasypalm.co.uk and http://www.rpoints.com which will give you cashback on your purchases at various online retailers. This works because when you usually click advertising links on the web the website hosting the link receives some financial gain; with these cashback sites they simply give you a cut of the referral money. They genuinely pay out and are featured in the moneysavingexpert forums. There are other sites that offer these facilities but these are the main two.
And a reply!
Hi and welcome.
That Money Saving Expert site is really good. I often hear Martin Lewis, whose site it is, on the radio giving good financial advice.

Wow Mr. P really interesting site. The data does seem a little out of date but interesting. Do remember though the boards have much more pages used than the main site, but the main site still have many times more visitors. While its difficult to see from in here.... the chat forum is the add on not the core

Yes Martin,
My reason for posting the link was that sites like iii will never figure on it. I thought it might be possibly useful as another string to your bow, if, as you say the fora are a bolt on then conceivably you could aggregate the statistics?
( a bit maybe) The quicker you fall behind, the longer you have to catch up...0
