Is MSE the UKs Biggest?

Hi folks,

I've been doing a bit of research. Using the tool bar and rankings of https://www.alexa.com to see how the site ranks.

World Ranking

3,467 The Motley Fool (UK): Stockmarket & Personal Finance
4,324 iii.co.uk: Stockmarket & Personal Finance
5,064 MoneySavingExpert: Consumer & Personal Finance
6,141 MoneySupermarket: Personal Finance Comparisons
11,544 Moneyextra: Personal Finance Comparisons
13,969 Uswitch: Consumer and Personal Finance Comparisons
18,850 Moneyfacts
19,512 Thisismoney: Personal Finance
51,894 Moneynet: Personal Finance Comparisons
86,908 Advfn (UK): Stockmarket

In my book that means that for publicity it would be legit to say, MSE is the biggest consumer & personal finance only website in the country (as the two larger sites have substantial proportions devoted to the stockmarket)

Have I missed/forgotten any sites that should be included? I don't want to come unstuck

I'm only looking at stanalone websites - partly because i can't get the ranking, also because most of their traffic is just dripped from their main site - they're not a destination, just a click through. Though actually i know most of the figures and MSE does well in comparison to the pure money sections

I would agree that we are the biggest, but then I have a bias :)

BTW, I'd like to know, why we don't get a mention in "The Good Web Guide"?

Moneysupermarket, Motley Fool etc are all listed, but not us. IMHO we should have been at the top of the list.

Is it time to get those "promotional items" sorted. We could have mouse mats, coasters, mugs, pens, rulers & car stickers to name but a few........

It would certainly open the door to infinite misc. compititions, give-away's or just straight forward sales....... "I know, I know you don't have the time or resources icon12.gif

I was going to mention "MoneyFacts" but they don't even get a look in at 18,850

I've added Moneyfacts, to be honest won't add any of the others which are over 20,000 - anyone else?
