Strangely it took a branch visit. For whatever reason they couldn't/wouldn't close it over the phone.colsten said:
I just checked mine. Unfortunately, I still have accounts with them, although both are empty. 1 ISA and 1 GIA. So falling foul of the "can't have account on August 22 2021". The ISA I can close by transferring it into my real ISA (which will probably take ages even though it's empty) but there seems no easy way to close the GIA. A lot of hassle for another £100....kaMelo said:Looking at the terms it seems I can have another go so I will.

I had GIA and got this offer last time but mine is also empty but not closed. But I dont have Invest ISA and it looks like by opening this account I should be eligible? You are eligible for the 2021 Cashback Offer if you hold a current account with NatWest, do not hold a NatWest Invest
Account or a NatWest Invest ISA, and you open:
• a NatWest Invest Account; and/or
• a NatWest Invest ISA,

I would interpret that as meaning the opposite, as in you qualify if don't hold either of those things, rather than if you don't hold a GIA you will qualify opening an S&S ISA and vice versa.Ghostcrawler said:I had GIA and got this offer last time but mine is also empty but not closed. That doesn't mean I'm correct, it's just how I read it.0 -

Ts and Cs say "Payments that you are due will be made into your Relevant Account by no later than 31 January 2022."0

Appreciate that. In my work I know these dates are often communicated as a worst case scenario and I'd asked if anyone had received. Thanksgrumiofoundation said:Ts and Cs say "Payments that you are due will be made into your Relevant Account by no later than 31 January 2022."0
