Many thanks for all the hints people but have now decided on the Imagin 10.4" from Boots.com which is currently £99.99. Best bit was that I got 15% discount on all goods as I was spending > £80 as well as 4% Boots points and a further 4% via pigsback. Same applies to the memory card. As this takes the overall cost of frame and card down from £135 to £114 (before the 2x4% back) and the cost is then split between me and sis that takes care of one pressie rather well!!
Thanks again
Katyk
PS the 15% discount over £80 finishes tonight I think so really sorry if I am telling anyone too late!0 -
The 15% off tip is a good one IF you can find anything you actually want that's at a good price at boots.com tonight. They waste your time as when you finally click on an attractive item for the details it says "not available for online purchase" for all the NICE things!0

I picked up on this thread, specifically the reply from Bob A Builder....thanks.
I have another question. I have bought a Sumvision Akita III from Ebuyer. It is a 7" frame, roughly 6 x 3.5" viewable, 480x234RGB resolution. I have downloaded the Cropping software, but cannot work out how to get a Portrait picture on the Landscape screen. Does that make sense?
Most pics are landscape, but this is for my Mum and I want a mix of pics on a slideshow. If I try and sneak in a Portrait, it stretches it horribly!
Am I being daft....there must be an easy answer.
Many thanks.O would some power the giftie gie us to see ourselves as others see us.

Many thanks.
Use a photo editor such as Irfanview to make your slideshow and rotate the portrait pics 90 degrees so that they fill the screen when you turn that 90 degrees .
