    Well done on quitting taxi and how maddening about the mortgage stress. These things always seem to be stressful but you've just got to get past this hurdle and you'll be on your lovely flexible mortgage and piling money into the offset account!

    Seax probably my body in shock ..lol...fell asleep at 4pm and woke at 7pm!!!...my body is doing alsorts of weird things lol...

  • I stopped in 2004 after about 23 years smoking. You will find some situations harder than others good luck.

    Taxi, thats *brill* that you're stopping smoking! I really sympathise with you feeling so bad because of it, just think of it as your body de-toxing. I smoked for a tiny wee while as a teenager, then stopped when I realised what inhaling was... I was *so* dumb! As hypno mentioned tho, its going to be such a moneysaver, and so healthy for you.

    I know it will be worth it in the end..I'll be healthier and richer at the end of the day...so will plod on with it.the end result will be worth it..not feeling too bad at the minute.

    Hi everyone...
    I still haven't had a cig!!!!..managed to get in touch with mortgage company..they said they would fax my solicitor....can't get hold of the solicitor now!!!!
    It's been a lovely day so had a walk into town and around the shops and back home again....done some washing and thats about it...back to work tomorrow

    Well done on stil not smoking! The first week is the worst (dreams, headaches, coughing up yukky stuff & feeling lke climbing the walls - cant wait!!) but once you push past that its easier! Just think of the money youre savng! Have you got a quit meter on your computer? Great motivatinal tool I found last time. Sorry mort not going smoothly...you do wonder dont you eh! Hope its al sorted soon...keep us posted!
