Afternoon everyone..hope you are all well xx...not a lot to report..have ordered 2 boots vouchers from pigsback towards my christmas collection...DH received his pin number today for the bank account he hasn't used for ages so will be able to take the money out for the windows when needed.
As it was raining here this morning it was really busy so have had a ok day on the cab...nothing much happening regarding debt busting at the moment but another loan due out monday...
Received a £30 cashback cheque from Morgan Stanley today so will bank that monday.
Our mortgage is due to go to SVR on monday so am expecting a call from the solicitor re..the redemption figure so he can proceed further all the other stuff is sorted ready to go(sorted the remortgage january but due to tie ins until 31st march had to wait)...so will probably get a call monday...it will only take a few days to change over....so will be sorted probably by the end of next week..
take care and have a good weekend everyone xx

Hi you 2 ..hope you are both ok....ISOM..it was nice to go shopping for a change..if I didn't have a early penalty of £1.5k then it would have been sorted january as the Abbey/solicitors etc had everything done in a week!!!...glad I got it sorted january though as rates have gone up since..luckily as it's a lifetime tracker I'll never have to remortgage and I intend to have it paid by end of 2011 if possible....
I also hope it's busy tomorrow as it's end of month/weekend and celtic and rangers match etc so probably quite busy...
Keepingmotivated....I'm terrible you know I always use cashback cards for everything and collect vouchers etc on fuel...all comes in handy for presents....
For instance the other day it was SILs birthday and my DD got engaged and I wanted a bottle of Moet Chandon for the engagement and a bottle of courvossier(spelling) and a card for the engagement ..so I went to Morrisons as I had £30 of morrissons miles vouchers(since christmas)..the total was £49 ish..so only cost me £19ish put that on AMEX card so 5% cashback as well...
There isn't much point in paying cash most of the time...
If I can't use AMEX somewhere I use my Morgan Stanley card 1/2 % cashback....
I should really use tesco more though and get points on shopping etc..DH finds it funny though.
The other day I paid for the holiday and forgot to give them the nectar card so rang them and they said that they don't do nectar points anymore as they were too much hassle. So I phoned up Nectar hel[pline and said that I wanted to cancel my card ..they asked why...I said because I felt ripped off and they added the points £25 worth there and then...so result...I bought DGs christmas present with those yesterday...lol....
So everything adds up over the year ..lol

Hi taxi. Fingers crossed the mortgage will transfer smoothly, I'm sure it will. I'm going to tackle ours next month and I've bookmarked the link to the Abbey mortgage you got, hope to get something very similar! What is your interest rate?

I've been the opposite of you and really messed up with a credit card. I spent on my Abbey CC five separate times while in France and they slapped on a £7.50 transaction fee each time. Ouch! I've never had that happen before. But it shows you should read the smallprint.

Hope you get lots of custom tomorrow - but no drunk football fans.
