Yes proper good taxi weather now and I'm off ...lol...
WELL WHAT A DAY TODAY....I got the post this morning and i had a letter from Halifax insurance from whom I'd left last september and at that time I was given a rebate of £34.49 so imagine my surprise this morning when I got a letter saying they'd done an audit and that I owed them £34.49...if I did how come it's only now that they want it back and they gave me 10 days to pay it...yes right!!!
So took it to the bank manager who was as annoyed as I was and has arranged for it to be cancelled...he said I will get one more letter about it but to ignore it so I will anymore and I will be back in to see him again!!!...he's good at sorting things out and I trust that it will be ok.
A LOT BETTER...in the post were some 0% CC cheques or 0% BT offer for DH from MBNA on an account he opened last year and hadn't even activated and the fee was only 2% and it's interest free until jan 2009.....
So now we've activated the card and transferred £2900 into DH bank account that he doesn't even use and that I've had to order a pin number for and register for online banking etc....I have set up a DD for minimum payment ....
    So heres the new plan...
I've asked the man to come to order my front door already ordered the windows the other day..so will have them done at the same time now and will pay for them out of that money....yahoo!!!
Then, I will pay for our holiday on our AMEX card next thursday(5%) cah back.....and the when the bill comes which I pay in full I will scoop up our holiday savings, money out of DH account (left from CC) and tax money and pay the AMEx with that...scooping up 5% CB and nectar points...
So I then have until december to pay off halifax and MBNA ..good plan or what...simple....
    So am a happy bunny

I can't wait for our first 0% offer we can use by choice, not by necessity.

You wouldn't believe the offers I've had the last few days...the CC companies must be desperate. It's a good feeling being able to use it to buy me some time...by choice will be good and will come to you.you are doing really well on your challenges.take care x
