Taxis 2008 diary..here we go

Hi everyone,
What a mixed day today ...every sort of weather imaginable!!!..today was quiet this morning and this afternoon was quite busy ..but..ended up having to come home as DH phoned to say DD was at the house and wanted to see me.
Shes got engaged and wanted to show me the ring..it's lovely...
DH took the same last night as he does on any friday night ..I think it will be busy tonight though...
He knows how to handle the drunks as hes done the job 27 years...and most of those have been nights..he's a lot more placid than me though!!!
Un fortunately idiots are part of the job..lol..

Hi Sea..no date yet...
She's planning on trying for a baby in August and after shes had the baby she wants to lose her weight and be saving for the wedding at the same time.So probably about 3 years.
She's planning on getting married abroad with close family and then having a blessing and big do here when they get back for all her friends etc..she has hundreds.
I don't think I can do this wedding DFW style as it will be me and her arranging everything...lol

Congratulations! How exciting having a weddng t plan!! Thought f you today when I got my taxi back from town! Note to self -next time go to supermkt in the car not a pop in shop in town!! Hope OH gets good takings tonight! Its been snowing here!!

It's just been a bit of sleet here and I don't want proper snow...lol...she's all excited about the wedding..they are out tonight as it's her boyfriends birthday.It's good news as he's the one we were worried about regarding the cancer scare..I call him SIL as it's easier..so will still refer to him as SIL...
Glad things are working out better for them ..it was her 21st the other day...can't wait to see DGS on monday as they are all away at the moment at SIL mum...I have DGS easter eggs here and have missed him this week...as he's had a week at his other nans and thats where they all are this weekend.

No doubt he'll be thrilled at having 2 easters!!! My two, well, Sophia at least, are so excited!

A nice feeling when the family are happy isn't it.. Congragulations...

The weather is just awful and soooo cold... Doesn't feel like Easter to me because of the weather or is that just me?

Great to be able to get the windows and door all finished at the same time and good to be able to use credit to your advantage for a change.

Have a good weekend I presume you are working so hope its good moneywise

Hi everyone..well what a crap Easter!!!!...my take on days is really down this weekend and the phrase bored to tears springs to mind as I was quite literally bored to tears.
I'm that fed up that I may have tomorrow off and just chill out and totter about...DHs take is the same as any other week.
I made myself a flask today AND took lunch to work....I've never managed to do that before....lol...
Nothing to report really ...so will go now...
