Sophiesmum....I do hope you're not doing too much and that you are resting plenty as thats a big op you've had!!!!..did I read that you're back at work?...if I did is that not too early?....It must be stressful having your kitchen fitted but the results will be worth it in the end so you do right not thinking too miuch about losing weight at the moment..you'll do it once you're well again and ready..take care xx
ISOM...I read about the RC ..you are both doing well...smoking as well can only be given up when you are ready ...I'm just waiting to hear about my mortgage and then I'm giving up.
have a good weekend xx0 -
Afternoon everyone...
Not a lot to report here...quite boring here really..DH has had all weekend off with the flu but is going back to work tommorrow so have spent the weekend with him and we haven't done much except chill. We went for a meal on friday evening and a drink and last night we had a banquet from a great chinese restaurant but as a takeaway ...this all made a nice change...apart from that all I've done is totter about doing washing etc...think we needed the rest...
Oh and before you all think that I've had a mad spending spree DH paid for it all so very DFW style!!!
Will update my sig in a minute as my loan came out today..will have to update a few times in the next 10 days or so as they are all due out...
DH surprised me last night as he gave me £300 so that I don't miss out on him not working...how wonderful is he?...he's very good at saving up ...I give him £40 p/w to spend on what he wants and he ends up just keeping it in his wallet...I also get £40 but mine gets ate up...mainly by smoking..how rich will I be when I give up?
I will have to take the cab to the garage tomorrow as the brakes feel like they're sticking...
Dh is just cooking the tea...we're having organic sausages, new potatoes caulfower and broccoli and onion gravy ...yum...
Am going to update my sig and catch up with you all now xxx0 -
Hi Taxi, even though I've been around for a while i've never posted in your diary before but read it regularly. I can't believe how well your doing with you debts and just want to say you must be really proud of yourself.
Keep going and I'll keep reading regularly to see how your doing.

Hi girlracer, thanks for that what a lovely comment. That's really nice of you and pop in anytime you want the more the merrier.
I just keep plodding paying what I can when I can being self-employed I don't have a reliable income and it can be hit and miss..I can't see me paying loads of extra off the next couple of months but as long as the normal payments are made it helps..take care xx0 -
Hi Taxi, you have a gem of a DH there.....keep hold of him

Afternoon everyone..hope you are well...not done much today except go to the garage to get the brakes on the cab seen to...it turned out to be that dirt had got stuck and caused the discs to rust slightly so they cleaned them off and so that was no charge...I then filled the car and went to the bank and deposited a cheque from Bt which when clear will be used for an overpayment on something. I've checked online banking as well.
My other jobs for today are clicks and to do a clean around as the surveyor from the window company is coming tomorrow at 4pm to do the final measurements for the back windows.
DH is going back to work tonight and I'm returning tomorrow.
Popped into see mortgage advisor today and have had the workings of the mortgage explained to me fully and will be extremely happy if I get it and he doesn't see any reason why not...he thinks he will know tommorrow so am keeping my fingers crossed we have had the AIP and the survey was done on friday and he said the turnaround is usually about 48 hours...so all keep your fingers crossed...take care xx0
