    Afternoon everyone...
What have I been up to since my last post?...My daughters have both been around this morning so had a chinwag with them...done a couple of loads of washing and drying...tidied up...checked my online banking and done clicks...read Hypnos diary and caught up from page 26...it took ages!!!...caught up with 3or 4 other diaries that I'm subscribed to....had the surveyor round for the re-mortgage so will probably get the mortgage offer next week...then I will drop the Id at solicitors when I get the offer...
Thats quite a lot for me really...also updated my e-mail address on the sites I use...
Some more plans for the year ahead that I forgot to mention yesterday...I really need to lose over 6 stone and am going to do it sensibly...so having gone back to basics and on account that I've watched some horrid food programmes in the last week or so I've decided to only eat organic food ...and all snacks will be fruit...I also plan to start going to the gym about 3 times a week as I figure that I may as well use it as I'm paying for it and also because I'm not as stressed now I plan to quit the fags for good (will do this as soon as my re-mortgage is approved) as this takes the stress out of my life as I'm reducing it to ten years but also paying as much as possible off to become totally debtfree...the loans can run their course....the CCs will be paid off fully before the 0% runs out and I don't need any more credit...
I've decided to totally renovate the house and am saving the cash for each job and doing them as and when I can afford them..my new back windows should be in in about a month...I've ordered those as the back isn't double glazed and the windows are rotten!!!so I need to raise about another £600 towards them for the day they are fitted...
So am feeling quite positive at the moment and will go back to work tommorrow...take care xx
  • aww hugs for you taxi. Sorry to hear you've been feeling so low...this time of year is always yuccy & not being able to work just adds to the worry I'm sure. Great news re the windows & mort and hope thats sorted soon - sounds like they're on the ball which is good! Makes a nice change eh! Well done on the debt busting - you're an inspiration as always!

Hope you soon feel much chippier!! (is that a word:confused: )

Good news on the mortgage - hope it all goes through ok. We too need new windows, but they are well down the list while the children are skiing!

Hi Hypno...I'm really ratted (if thats a word)...DH had a hissy fit and decided he wasn't working tonight (man flu...lol)....and after shouting at me this morning and not getting up until 6pm...said he'd take me for a meal....he paid ...£60 and bought the drinks and paid the taxis..so very dfw for me..but now I'm drunk I can't get up at 6 a
m to go to work tomorrow...as I'll be over the limit ..so a day off for me and a lie in...lol...we are usually away on holiday at this time of year so perhaps he's missing that...ahh well...we do need to chill out sometimes and get a perspective on life...I'm not trying to justify it or anything but we work at least 50 weeks per year and 72 hours p/w so am not bothered and both need to chill out..so thats that...
There are people dying at the hands of thugs ..now that is appalling..puts our lives into perspective after all it is only debt and manageable at that...take care xx

Thanks ....probably go for a walk in a bit then veg out...I really must go back to work as I've been stuck in this house for days on end with surveyors, deliveries double glazing people etc....chasing things up and because I was depressed....not feeling depressed now..so thats good and everything seems to be sorting itself out now which is also good...
Plan for the next few weeks is to work hard(which is hard because nobody is going out so don't need taxis as they're all skint) in order to get the money for my back windows and to not end up in my O/D as we always do in jan/feb...
Eat as healthily as possible and form an exercise plan...so I can look good for our holiday next january and also give up smoking!!!
Think that's enough for my little brain to cope with at the moment....take care xxx
  • Have a good day taxi:D
Sorry to hear you have been feeling down. Just take things a step at a time and don't put too much pressure on yourself.
Good luck with the healthy eating and the giving up smoking, I must get to grips with my weight too asap, but just having new kitchen fitted and everywhere is a tip, no cooker etc so just can't be bothered trying to cut down at moment.
Hope everythin goes okay with valuation etc.
