It's a good bank at the moment at least - you can always go for another if it goes down with the takeover (might be joining you!)

I missed the troll - seems like its been deleted, or the poor soul deleted his own when he realised no one was going to play. Found him on hypno's tho - I don't think he knows what's hit him! :rotfl:

Hi everyone...have hit my total now for bills....hurray.....will now make a start on mext weeks bills.
Went into Halifax this morning and closed my Isa and other current account.So just my main current account until I swap it.one CC and two loans....CC will be paid and shut ASAP...current account transferred and unless I come into a lot of money my loans will have to be as they are....
Haven't even had a e-mail back from A+L yet and it's not on their system.
I'm back early from work as I have a banging head ,it's really quiet and really hot!!!!
Updated my sig as my loan has been paid today and BMI..hope you'r all having a good day x

Hi Taxi I'm glad the bills are sorted and the pressure is off.. I hope you are going to write Halifax a letter when you close the account to explain why and what you think of them and which bank is now going to get X amount of pounds put in their account instead which is shame after 11 years of banking with them! Plonkers what a way to run a business it still amazes me although I don't know why really.

Anyway I hope the headache goes and you manage to realx for the rest of the day.

Good news !!!!!!....I've just spoken to A+L and I've been accepted...my welcome pack is on it's way.So that's a weight off my mind.

Not a lot to report here today...have been to work and it's very hot,been to bank and put takings in and sent some bits off to the solicitors...had a call from the accountant and wants to see us at 4pm today...and that's about it.
Really hot here...

I can symapathise Taxi as just done mammoth housework, in preparation for going away, don't know why but i always do..bathroom looks great now..i can see my face in the taps! Washing nearly all finished and put away and am sweating like a pregnant nun now..so having a quick brew and a catch up then making tea.
