I agree about the head in the right place comment...a fresh look at things doesn't do any harm.
    Forgot it was interest free..lol...
Think we've all been having a think the last few days.
  • Wow £1500 interest free.......................bob zooms out to try and get one!

Good for you Taxi, glad to see it all coming together.x

    Morning all...
Hope everyone is well.Feeling quite positive as finished a few hundred on top of where I need to be...so that is a start to next weeks round of bills...need just short of a grand by the 11th so onwards and up wards with that challenge. This includes Amex used for my fuel of £530....(so glad fuel is coming down)....and my accountant fees of £150....so need a good week again.
Have adjusted my sig as my £25 for virgin came out of the bank today.
I need to phone GMAC tomorrow to see if that £1500 has cleared and pay them the remaining balance on the finance....£343.61 and £271.95...(the £271.95 is usually took the last day of the month but hasn't come out today but will check tomorrow before phoning them) so that's a nice chunk to take off my debts tomorrow.
I must be mad and am trying to get enough together to pay that Halifax CC off as well this month...so that's my other challenge.
Hope everyone has a good day xxx

taxi just a quick question if you dont mind ...with you being a taxi driver do you check the fuel prices on the net before you fill up? i have started and got the disel for £1.24 instead of the £1.28 that the local one is it only makes about 80p a time for me but was wondering with you being a taxi driver will it make alot more and is it worth the hassel?

I don't Elantan only due to the fact that we have Morrissons, tescos and Asda all within a couple of miles of each other and they are in competitition with each other.I agree though it's a good idea to check though...I do tend to use Morrissons one as I get the miles vouchers and the cashback on CC ...Asda gives nothing and is only self serve and quite often the payment thing wasn't working....Tesco are well Tesco...I stopped using them a long while ago when they put 3p on fuel at the pump only to give you a voucher if you spent £50 in store for 3p off...what a conning lot they are xxx

Wish we had a morrisons near here - will have to check the nearest. Need to fill up today for weekend. Am taking OH's car as it is cheaper to run than mine and don't have to fit the dogs in.
