oh no peeing on lovely new taxi! yeugh but good that you got the dosh back! Some people have no shame but highly amused that the oh came to moan - youd think theys want to keep that quiet....nowt so queer as folks!!

ISOM - maybe she didn't tell OH what she had done and he thought the taxi firm was trying to rip them off (or maybe he just wanted to make a scene to get the cash back!)

Oh speaking of cash - cap your fuel bills today! Dr Dragon has been on to E.on and they are stopping capped rates as of 6pm tonight.

Thanks everyone..back from work as it's a little quiet today...did ok though and DH did great last night so can't complain....
Had a few bits and pieces through the post from A+L ..I have the pin number for debit card...the welcome pack with a thing I had to sign so sent that back....and 2 letters about the linked savings account...
Should be up and running soon then as all I need is the debit card and cheque book....will soon be rid of halifax.
Nothing to report really.Hope you've all had a good day x

Sorry Dragon you snuck in there...lol....I capped mine untill 2011 a few weeks back...
DH knew exactly why as he was the one that paid me!!!!!!.....turns out they've done it before but have moved address so that is now blacklisted....
Seaxwyn....it's bittersweet the amount paid off the debt as some of it is because the car was wrote off....also with having to start afresh with a new car the debt has gone up overall....nearly £16k with interest for new car...so £6k more in debt overall...ahh well one day I will get that debt down and keep it down

I'm so bored tonight !!!!!...I thought that I'd have a bit of a declutter (shamed by Hypno..LOL) but I don't have any bin bags ..ahhhhh....so will wait until tomorrow.
There is nothing on tv either....it's quiet on here tonight as well....think I'll probably just end up going to bed.

I'm pleased to read that you are now back on the road in your own wheels again and that Mr Taxi had a good night last night.
I walked along the prom today and it was busy, so let's hope he has good one again tonight so you can get the bills paid and start to get your 'cushion' in place.
