I most certainly am going to relax tomorrow..if I don't answer the phone or door or open the post nobody can stress me out ....lol....I'm glad I've sorted that much out...all I can do now is sit back and wait and in the mean time try to earn as much as possible to pay all this stuff up front and to be prepared for two car payments £271.95 and £322 per month until they settle.0

Six months time you will wonder what all the fuss was about.£2 coin/ £460

aww hugs for you taxi...just caught this. If you are feeling suidcidal PLEASE go and see your GP. It could be that it is simply the stress and worry of the last couple of weeks has got to you. How are you sleeping? I know its really hard when things like this happen but remember you will get there - this is just a blip and hopefully the insurance will cover loss of earnings etc and while you may be out of pocket at least OH is ok. I know its galling as I had a crash about 10 of years ago and the driver then lied & said I'd hit him & he got away with it as there were no witnesses... it took a good few years to get over that but in the end felt what goes around comes around - no point becoming bitter as they just win then dont they eh! Try & let go of it if you can
Try going down to the beach with a marker pen, write the persons name on a rock & lob it out to sea! Feels great to "rid" yourself of it & it makes a lovely satisfying PLOP!
Let me know if I can do anything to help but remember it is just money - life is more precious than that isnt it eh! Take some time to relax and do something you both enjoy!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
Blimey taxi - big hugs to you. You have had such a horrible week but you still manage to post cheery posts on other threads - you're a star. So sorry to hear about the insurance problem - that is so unfair - why should you be out of pocket when you weren't at fault? Can you take a personal action against the culprit for the difference? Surely there must be a way? Glad things are starting to move in the right direction to get you started again. Hang in there girl. And no more suicidal thoughts hun - really not worth that - even if you had no money at all - you have your family and friends and that is the most important thing. (Murderous thoughts .... now that's another thing altogether......:p). We're all here for you hun - feel free to rant at us when you need to.0

Welcome KIKA and thanks for posting...Glad to see you back Mizmir...ISOM and all others I'm glad you are all about to support me thanks...
Nothing to report as yet (that I can think of)....
Mizmir...it won't be resting at this as I want to (I don't know how yet) to appeal for a change in the law in no fault accidents so that people aren't put in a worse position. My brain hurts enough at the moment with all this rubbish.I am feeling a lot better so will not be going to my GP....but I'm still very angry...I cannot believe the laws in this country...protect the criminals and sod the normal law abiding people....will shut up now as I'll get angry again.0 -
Morning Taxi - You are right to channel that energy into making positive changes for others. Just make sure that you do not wear yourself out, either physically or emotionally.....that will do you, or anyone else, no good whatsoever.

Morning Hypno....I think I was at the point of wear out the other day as my head was killing me and I couldn't think straight and I felt so tired.0

Glad to see that taxi positive spirit winning through! You are right that the law needs to change - crazy and unjust situation. But as hypno says don't wear yourself out. Hope you manage to have a relaxing day.0

Here's hoping you have a good day, i like the idea of chucking named rocks into the sea.....think i may have a go at that myself.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0
