Congratulations! We got our offer today too - application went in 03/09. Bit of a stressful wait tbh so it's a relief now isn't?! It hasn't quite sunk in yet though as we have been so used to disappointment at 5pm when working day over and we hadn't heard anything!!Mononoke87 said:After long stressful wait we finally got our mortgage offer today! Don't lose hope people!
Our timeline:
29/08 - full mortgage application
04/09 - desktop valuation
22/09 - requested September payslips
24/09 - went to UW queue
29/10 - after many chasers and escalations by MB offer received!
We didn't get any queries from UWs as our case was pretty straight forward, both employed, nothing bad on credit history
Oh yes, I was dreading 5pm everyday
it got really difficult at the end of 2 months wait, especially seeing some lucky people get their offers so quickly.
We got the news 8am today but it took me 2 hours to actually digest it and start happy dancing 😄1 -
Mines booked for the 10th. No idea if it’s a physical valuation or not.NatNat77 said:
We're literally following the same timeline aren't weFTB20 said:
Snap! Ours is being done the same week so another 2 week waitNatNat77 said:Congrats!
So we're going to have to wait another couple of weeks for our formal offer as the valuation isn't being done until 9th Nov and it's going to be a physical one. The lady at santander told me it was being done yesterday but it must have been when they passed it to the valuation company 🤦

Good luck, we’ll all be waiting for that week. Have no idea which one we have either they just said it’s booked inpinklady3333 said:

I only know what mine is as the valuation company they use called me and asked for the estate agents number this morning. Santander told me it was booked in yesterday, which is obviously wrong. Gutted I won't be able to relax with my formal offer for another 2 weeks1

So once the valuation is done do we then end up in the queue for the underwriters? Or are we already in that queue now?NatNat77 said:I only know what mine is as the valuation company they use called me and asked for the estate agents number this morning. Everyone’s timelines seem to be different, we have been through underwriting and now approved subject to valuation. Some people have valuation instructed upon application - your MB should be able to update you, I have a tracker that tells me the stages that have been completed.pinklady3333 said:

Did you apply direct with Santander to get access to that tracker or is there a weblink anyone (including Broker submissions) can use?0

I've been monitoring that one for a while now but I have no idea where I am in the grand scheme of things. I've been told by the broker our application is approved subject to valuation and that was done a fortnight ago. It would be good to know how much longer it'll be before we hopefully receive an offer and can continue the process.MatthewB21 said:

I’d call your MB to find out when your valuation is booked for. Sounds like they just need to check the valuation and you’ll be good to go.MJT0801 said:
