Received an update today confirming that our application has reached the valuation stage, pending a day to be booked! We’re relieved at how quickly it’s progressed considering it was submitted on Thursday evening (15.10), here’s hoping it will continue!

We haven’t heard a peep yet, we submitted on the 12th... think we will be waiting a while!

We haven’t heard a peep yet, we submitted on the 12th... think we will be waiting a while!

I’m amazed at how quickly it happened, I was fully expecting a 3-4 week wait! Fingers crossed for you, that you’ll hear back soon!

We received some more Qs that we responded to on 12/10. Any idea how long it will from now to decision? Been going on since beg of Sept!

Hi everyone, I've been following this thread a little over the past week. Our application was submitted via a broker on 30/09, I had the confirmation text & email on that day and can see the hard search same day. We've had no updates yet. I'm just wondering, those of you with brokers, do you/did you get texts & emails from Santander whenever your application progressed? E.g. with underwriters, valuation etc - or did you only hear via your broker? We checked in with him last week and there was nothing to report - but I'm not sure if that means no offer or refusal to report, or whether there's literally been no movement since the application! I don't want to badger him too much so thought I'd check here first before we check in later this week.

We have so far received updates via our MB, beyond the basic text from Santander confirming receipt of our application last week. The valuation stage has been confirmed and arranged via the MB, so we’re not expecting to hear much more until next week.

We applied on the 22nd September and haven’t heard a single peep. Think it went to the underwriters on the 29th September so still have a week to go probably. Would have been 5 weeks next Tuesday 😳

Little update, apparently they have asked our broker questions (not sure when) which he replied to straight away. He thinks we'll hear this week. Sitting tight with the rest of you!

We are literally one day ahead of you, full app on 21st and been with the underwriters since the 28th. 

Finally had the valuation today after 3 weeks of waiting so hopefully the fun stuff starts now

Oh great news! How did you know the valuation had been done? My partner is SE hence the delay i imagine, it's just really painful all this waiting...
